Objective:This study aimed to investigate the diagnostic value of Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio(PLR)and Uric Acid(UA)levels in patients with Premature Coronary Artery Disease(PCAD)and assess their predictive value for Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events(MACE)during hospitalization. Methods:We enrolled 294 patients aged <55 and <65 years who underwent Coronary Angiography(CAG)at the Inner Mongolia Forestry General Hospital between May 2020 and February 2021.Based on CAG results, patients were allocated to a PCAD group(case group)or a control group, with the latter consisting of both coronary atherosclerosis and normal subgroups.PCAD patients were stratified into mild, moderate, and severe lesion groups according to Gensini scores. The analysis encompassed risk factors for PCAD,correlations between PLR,Uric Acid,Gensini scores, and the number of vascular lesions,as well as the diagnostic value of PLR and Uric Acid for PCAD and their predictive efficacy for MACE events during hospitalization.Results:(1)Notable differences in gender, smoking, hypertension history, and diabetes history were observed between PCAD patients and the control group(P < 0.05).Laboratory indices, including Creatinine(Cr),Alanine Aminotransferase(ALT),Aspartate Aminotransferase(AST),Alkaline Phosphatase(ALP),Triglyceride(TG),High-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol(HDL-C),Fasting Blood Glucose(FBG),High-sensitivity Troponin T(hs-c Tn T),Lactate Dehydrogenase(LDH),Creatine Kinase MB(CK-MB),Myoglobin(MTO),Hemoglobin(Hb),and Uric Acid, were significantly higher in the PCAD group compared to the control group(P < 0.05).Multivariate logistic analysis revealed that gender, hypertension history,AST,FBG,and Uric Acid were independent risk factors for PCAD.(2)Serum Uric Acid levels were positively correlated with Gensini scores in the PCAD group, with higher levels observed in the severe PCAD group compared to the mild PCAD group(P < 0.05).Uric Acid demonstrated predictive value for PCAD occurrence, but no significant difference in MACE event incidence was observed between the PCAD and control groups during hospitalization(P > 0.05).(3)No significant difference in Uric Acid and PLR was found between groups with varying numbers of diseased vessels(P > 0.05).(4)PLR was correlated with the occurrence of MACE in PCAD patients(rs=0.170,P=0.027).PLR showed predictive value for MACE events in PCAD patients during hospitalization. No significant correlation between PLR and Gensini score was observed in the PCAD group(rs=0.069,P=0.374),and PLR did not significantly impact Gensini scores in PCAD patients(P > 0.05).The diagnostic value of PLR for PCAD was not significant(P=0.964).Conclusion:(1)Gender,hypertension,AST,FBG,and Uric Acid were identified as independent risk factors for PCAD.(2)Uric Acid was positively correlated with Gensini scores, reflecting the severity of coronary artery disease in PCAD patients, and demonstrated predictive value for PCAD occurrence.(3)A correlation between PLR and the occurrence of MACE events during hospitalization was observed, and PLR showed certain predictive value for MACE events in PCAD patients, but its effectiveness is mediocre.
