The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization,and proposed to build a digital China,a rule of law China,a healthy China,a safe China,and a beautiful China.People’s health is an important symbol of the prosperity of the nation and the strength of the country.Promoting the development of grass-roots medical and health services in ethnic areas is the need to achieve Chinese path to modernization and build a healthy China.Medical and health care is the core of people’s livelihoods.The rapid development of medical and health services in agricultural and pastoral areas is an important force to promote Chinese path to modernization,and is the basis for the construction of the Chinese national community.The development of medical and health services in agricultural and pastoral areas is of great significance.First,it is conducive to promoting regional economic and social development;second,it is conducive to promoting poverty alleviation and the realization of a well-off society in an all-round way;third,it is conducive to the need for high-quality development of ethnic work in the new era;fourth,it is of great significance to promoting Chinese path to modernization and building a strong sense of the Chinese national community.Tongliao City is an important city in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia and one of the most concentrated areas of Mongolians in China.After the establishment of the People’s Republic of China,thanks to the Party’s ethnic policies,the development of medical and health services in agricultural and pastoral areas has achieved tremendous achievements.With the further deepening of the "Healthy China" strategy,the development of medical and health services in grassroots agricultural and pastoral areas has ushered in new development opportunities.This article sorts out the development of medical and health services in the agricultural and pastoral areas of Tongliao City after the establishment of the People’s Republic of China through literature review and interviews.It also sorts out information on the current allocation of medical resources,development of ethnic medicine,improvement of public health and grassroots medical service systems in the agricultural and pastoral areas of Tongliao City,and analyzes the factors that restrict the development of medical and health services in the agricultural and pastoral areas of Tongliao City.Based on this,Propose countermeasures and suggestions for the development of medical and health services in agricultural and pastoral areas of Tongliao City.
