Clinical Research On Treating Infantile Enuresis(Type Of Dampness-Heat Of Liver Channel) With Sihengwen Tuina

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Sihengwen Tuina on infantileenuresis(type of dampness-heat of liver channel)through a randomized controlled study.New and effective treatment plans are desired to be provided as well as an unprecedented cooperation mode of acupoint which are specially used for infant massage.Methods:Seventy-four patients who were diagnosed as infantile enuresis(type of dampness-heat of liver channel)were divided into two groups at random,according with the criterias of inclusion and exclusion.One group was named Sihengwen Tuina Group and the other was named Routine Tuina Group,with each group consists of thirty-seven patients.①Sihengwen Tuina Group:Pushing Sihengwen at first,then pinching and kneading it.Based on different symptoms,other additional manipulations were usedto assist the treatment.Kneading Taichong and Xingjian to relieve irrit-ability,kneading Yongquan and Neilaogong to modify feverishness in palmsand soles,kneading Zhongji,Qugu and Pangguangshu to reduce frequent micturition,kneading Sanyinjiao to ameliorate the bad night sleep.②Routine Tuina Group:Qing Ganjing,Qing Xinjing,Qing Xiaocang,Qing Tianheshui,kneading Erma,while taking the same additional therapy as Sihengwen Tuina Group.Two groups are treated once ever other day,six times as a course of treatment.After four courses of treatment,the Overall Response,Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Score Scale(TCMSSS),bladder volume,long-term therapeutic effect and safety are compared and analyzed.Results:(1)Overall Response:The overall response rate of the Sihengwen Tuina Group was 85.71%,and the marked response rate was 74.29%.The overall response rate of the Routine Tuina Group was 73.53%,and the marked response rate was 50.00%.There is statistical significance(P<0.05)between the marked response rate of two groups.Meanwhile at the same time,Sihengwen Tuina Group is higher than Routine Tuina Group in terms of the rate of overall response and marked response,which reveals that Sihengwen Tuina performs better as far as the marked response rate concerned.(2)TCMSSS:Sihengwen Tuina after treatment of TCM syndrome integral with the control group was lower than those of Routine Tuina Group,the primary symptom and times the total integral differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),and Sihengwen Tuina on children improve urine color yellow,less urine smell smelling of urine,night lying uneasy heart hot/dreamspell Xie teeth,hands and feet and stool stem node order disease curative effect is more prominent(P<0.05).(3)Evaluation of bladder volume distribution:After treatment,the number of children with normal bladder volume in the Sihengwen Tuina Group increased from ten cases to twenty-seven cases,and the number of children with normal bladder volume in the Routine Tuina Group increased from twelve cases to nineteen cases,and the distribution difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that Sihengwen Tuina has more advantages in improving bladder volume in children.(4)Long-term efficacy evaluation:After three months of follow-up,the recurrence rate of the Sihengwen Tuina Group was 17.14%,and that of the Routine Tuina Group was 26.47%,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),suggesting no difference in the recurrence rate between the two groups.(5)Safety evaluation:there was one case of massage medium(talc)allergy in the Routine Tuina Group,with an incidence of 2.70%,and no adverse reactions were observed in the Sihengwen Tuina Group,suggesting that the safety of the two massage methods was higher.Conclusion:The overall efficacy of Sihengwen Tuina Group is more significant than the Routine Tuina Group,which means it can provide effective treatment plan for clinical medicine.
