The Study On Government Supervision Of Myopia Prevention And Control Of Children And Adolescents In Jinan

With the improvement of the living conditions of our residents and the popularization of national education,the myopia rate of our children and adolescents is increasing rapidly.The myopia of children and adolescents has seriously endangered the physical health and national defense safety of our children and adolescents.In recent years,China attaches great importance to children and adolescents’ visual health,put the comprehensive prevention and control of myopia in children and adolescents on the agenda.However,at present,there are still problems in the prevention and control of myopia in our country,it is urgent to carry out the research of government supervision on the prevention and control of children’s and adolescents’ myopia.Based on the reality of Jinan,this study adopts public management research methods such as questionnaires,interviews and empirical research,and makes use of public management theories such as holistic government theory and collaborative governance theory,an investigation into the current state of government regulation of myopia prevention and control among children and adolescents in Jinan.A stratified sampling survey was conducted among 40 primary and secondary schools in Jinan,and questionnaires were distributed to those responsible,as well as to supervisors of relevant administrative departments,to understand the current regulatory situation in the prevention and control of myopia in Jinan.A total of 13 staff members engaged in the prevention and control of myopia from all walks of life were interviewed,and more than 30,000 words of interview data were collected.The study found that as an important part of the prevention and control of myopia,in Jinan,most of primary and secondary schools have a good understanding of the policies and requirements for myopia’s prevention and control of children and adolescents,but their implementation is not thorough enough,the government departments in the prevention and control of myopia coordinated supervision there are still some problems.The main performance is:the supervision mechanism is not sound,the supervision basis is imperfect,the supervision power is inadequate,the supervision means is unitary etc.In view of the problems found,this study puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions of the government supervision on the prevention and control of myopia among adolescents and children in Jinan,consisted of:establishing a unified supervision system of myopia prevention and control in children and adolescents;speeding up the promulgation of local legislation and related policies to improve regulatory instruments;increasing coordination among departments and establishing a platform for resource sharing,and improve regulatory efficiency;building a dynamic regulatory model of ’Internet plus eye health’,to promote the implementation of supervision measures for the prevention and control of myopia;improving the mechanism for evaluating the effectiveness of supervision,and establish a government evaluation system.This study,through in-depth investigation,puts forward countermeasures and suggestions,hoping to effectively enhance the effectiveness of government supervision on the control and prevention of myopia among children and adolescents in Jinan,and to provide effective experiences for other regions in our country.
