| Objective:This study systematically analyzes the research hotspots in the field of traditional Chinese medicine informatics(TCMI),explores the cutting-edge research in the field of TCMI,and optimizes the disciplinary framework of TCMI based on this,in order to promote the development of TCMI and provide useful references for researchers in the field of TCMI.Methods:This study consists of three parts,Firstly,in the hot topic analysis section of traditional Chinese medicine informatics research,we searched the Chinese and English literature in the field of traditional Chinese medicine informatics from 2008 to 2022 included in the CNKI and Web of Science databases,and screened out irrelevant literature to obtain 3645 and 1277 articles,respectively.Using this as the data source,we used bibliometric methods to analyze the current development status of traditional Chinese medicine informatics discipline,and implemented keyword clustering analysis using CiteSpace software,Obtain research hotspots in the field of traditional Chinese medicine informatics,and use expert meeting methods to consult a total of 11 experts in related fields such as traditional Chinese medicine informatics and medical informatics to demonstrate research hotspots.Finally,in the research section of the disciplinary framework of Traditional Chinese Medicine Informatics,investigate the directory setting of monographs such as "Traditional Chinese Medicine Informatics" and "Medical Informatics",and sort out the current system framework of Traditional Chinese Medicine Informatics and its related disciplines;By sorting out the training objectives and main courses of 44 undergraduate majors related to information science set up by 22 traditional Chinese medicine universities across the country,we aim to obtain the theoretical foundation and practical application objectives of traditional Chinese medicine information science for professionals in the field of traditional Chinese medicine information science;Conduct research on the research directions of 10 degree points in traditional Chinese medicine informatics and related disciplines nationwide,analyze the differences between the current main research directions of traditional Chinese medicine informatics and the existing disciplinary system,and assist in optimizing the disciplinary system;Research the background and disciplinary setting ideas of the renaming of the discipline "Library Information and Archive Management" by the Ministry of Education to "Information Resource Management",and obtain the development trends of the discipline;Overall,the first draft of the disciplinary framework for the construction of traditional Chinese medicine informatics;Using the expert meeting method,six experts from the fields of traditional Chinese medicine informatics and medical informatics were consulted to demonstrate and improve the framework of the traditional Chinese medicine informatics system.Results:This study analyzes the research hotspots and concludes that the research hotspots in the field of traditional Chinese medicine informatics mainly focus on the standards and terminology of TCMI,the application of modern information technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data in the field of traditional Chinese medicine,and the digitization and knowledge-based research of ancient Chinese medicine books.Through the analysis of research frontiers,this research concluded that the research frontiers of TCMI include multidisciplinary integration,the integration of university scientific concepts and TCMI concepts,the research of TCM artificial intelligence based on the "pre training+fine tuning" paradigm of the big language model,the research on the combination of TCM domain knowledge organization with machine learning,feature extraction and other algorithms,and the research on the in-depth classification of basic data of TCM discipline evaluation.Through in-depth research on the disciplinary framework of TCMI,it is proposed that TCMI includes three branches,namely,TCM informatics foundation,TCM information engineering,and TCM information resource construction and management.Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine informatics research is rich in content and wide in scope,current research hotspots are mainly focused on the application field of traditional Chinese medicine informatics,and the intelligent processing of traditional Chinese medicine information and the intelligent in-depth development and utilization of traditional Chinese medicine information resources will be the research trend in the field of traditional Chinese medicine informatics. |
