The Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Cervical Vertigo With "Nape Seven Needles"

Objective:The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical effect of "nape seven needles" acupuncture on patients with cervical vertigo,evaluate its safety and effectiveness,and provide effective,simple and convenient TCM treatment measures for clinical treatment.Methods:60 patients with cervical vertigo who met the inclusion criteria were divided into control group and treatment group according to the random number table method,30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with ’nape seven needles’,and the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture,10 times as a course of treatment,and the curative effect was counted after 2 courses of treatment.Evaluation Scale for Cervical Vertigo(ESCV)score,Dizziness Handicap Inventory(DHI)and Neck Disability Index(NDI)were used to evaluate the therapeutic effect of patients with cervical vertigo.Results:(1)After treatment,the scores of cervical vertigo symptom and function assessment scale in the treatment group and the control group were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Compared with the control group,the improvement of the total score of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.01).There was no difference in the single symptom score between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05),but in the single comparison of vertigo and neck and shoulder pain,the score of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.01).(2)The dizziness disorder score and cervical dysfunction index score of the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.01),and the improvement of the score in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).(3)The clinical effective rate of the treatment group was 93.10%,and that of the control group was 85.71%.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:"Nape Seven Needles " can not only improve the vertigo symptoms of cervical vertigo and the functional activities of cervical vertebrae,but also improve the quality of life of patients.It is worth further studying its treatment and mechanism for clinical promotion.
