| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of sinus lavage with Cangqi mixture after the operation with chronic rhinosinusitis of lung and spleen deficiency,by comparing and analyzing the subjective symptom scores of patients before and after treatment,the influence scores on nasal mucosal morphology and functional recovery,and the Lund-Mackay score of sinus CT scan,and by detecting the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6)and human chondrocyte glycoprotein 39(YKL-40)in the serum of patients before and after treatment.To provide the theoretical and clinical practice basis for sinus lavage with Cangqi mixture after the operation of chronic rhinosinusitis with qi deficiency syndrome of lung and spleen,and to provide a new idea for patients with chronic rhinosinusitis with qi deficiency syndrome of lung and spleen.Methods : This study selected 90 patients of Otolaryngology in our hospital from March 2018 to August 2018,and met the diagnostic criteria for chronic rhinosinusitis with qi deficiency syndrome of lung and spleen and had surgical indications.Ninety patients who met the test criteria were randomly divided into three groups: blank group,control group,and experimental group,with 30 cases in each group.All the three groups underwent surgery under the endoscope.After cleaning the operation cavity,they were treated with oral clarithromycin and mucus-promoting agent,and glucocorticoid nasal spray.All patients were treated with sinus lavage for 4 weeks.The patients in the blank group were lavaged with distilled water.The control group was treated with normal saline.The experimental group was treated with Cangqi mixture.After4 weeks of treatment,the subjective and objective symptom scores(visual analogue scale,VAS),and nasal endoscopic Lund-Kennedy score were recorded before and after treatment in three groups.The levels of interleukin-6(IL-6)and human chondrocyte glycoprotein 39(YKL-40)in serum of patients were measured before and after treatment by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).After 6 months of treatment,the Lund-Mackay score of sinus CT scan were calculated and recorded before and after treatment in three groups.At the end of the experiment,the data information and observation scores of all patients were collated accordingly.Finally,all the data were statistically analyzed using SPSS22.0,and the conclusion was drawn.Results: There were no statistically significant differences in gender and age between the three groups(P >0.05),so the three groups were comparable.The experimental group,the control group,the blank group were compared between each other by subjective symptom score(VAS score),endoscopic score,sinus CT score,surgical cavity cleaning time,levels IL-6 and YKL-40 in serum before and after treatment.There were significant differences among the three groups,and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).The total effective rates of the three groups were different,the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05),and the total effective rate of the experimental group(96.67%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(70%)and the blank group(53.33%).Conclusion: 1.Sinus lavage with Cangqi mixture after the operation of chronic rhinosinusitis with qi deficiency syndrome of lung and spleen can significantly improve their subjective symptoms,especially for headache,dysosmia,nasal mucosal edema and other signs.2.Sinus lavage with Cangqi mixture can improve postoperative nasal cleanliness,reduce mucosal inflammation,accelerate postoperative epithelialization of nasal mucosa,shorten epithelialization time,and promote the repair of nasal mucosa.3.Cangqi mixture can significantly reduce the levels of IL-6 and YKL-40 in serum of patients with chronic rhinosinusitis.4.The effect of the application of Cangqi mixture for sinus lavage in the comprehensive treatment of patients with chronic rhinosinusitis with qi deficiency syndrome of lung and spleen,is significant,as well as high safety,and it is worthy of widespread application. |
