Objective: Immunohistochemical method was used to observe the expression difference of apoptosis related factor ligand(FAS-L)protein and B-cell lymphoma-2(BCL-2)protein in normal ovarian tissue,benign ovarian serous tumor,borderline ovarian serous tumor and high grade serous carcinoma of ovary(HGSOC).The relationship between Bcl-2 protein and clinical pathological factors in HGSOC,clarify the correlation between the expression of these two proteins,and explore their role in the occurrence and development of HGSOC and chemotherapy resistance.Methods: A total of 140 cases of ovarian tumor tissue wax in the Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University from January 2014 to June 2021 were collected.They were strictly diagnosed by senior pathologists and divided into different types of ovarian epithelial tumors,including 40 cases of ovarian benign serous tumors(benign group),40 cases of ovarian borderline serous tumors(borderline group)and 60 cases of HGSOC(malignant group).Another 20 cases of normal ovarian tissue(normal group)were collected as the control group.FAS-L protein and BCL-2 protein were detected by immunohistochemistry,the expression results were recorded,and the data were analyzed by statistical method.Results: It was found that the positive expression rates of FAS-L protein and BCL-2 protein in normal group,benign group,borderline group and malignant group were significantly different(P < a(0.05)).In addition,the positive expression rate of FAS-L protein in malignant group was significantly different from that in normal group,benign group and borderline group(P < a’(0.008));The positive expression rate of BCL-2 protein in normal group,benign group,borderline group and malignant group was significantly different(P < a’(0.008)).In the malignant group,the main influencing factors of FAS-L protein expression were FIGO stage,distant organ metastasis and serum CA125 level(P < 0.05);The main influencing factors of BCL-2protein expression were platinum resistance,ascites tumor cells and serum CA125 level(P <0.05).Platinum resistance was positively correlated with BCL-2 protein expression intensity,while ascites tumor cells and serum CA125 level were negatively correlated with BCL-2 protein expression intensity.The results of gamma trend test showed that there was a negative correlation between FAS-L protein expression intensity and BCL-2 protein expression intensity in HGSOC,that is,the stronger FAS-L protein expression intensity in HGSOC,the weaker BCL-2 protein expression intensity(Gamma=-0.353,P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1.FAS-L protein contributes to the diagnosis of HGSOC and plays an important role in the occurrence and invasion of HGSOC.2.Although BCL-2protein has limitations in the diagnosis of HGSOC,it can also be used to evaluate the malignant potential of HGSOC and the clinical treatment effect.
