| ObjectiveThe purpose of this paper is to investigate the psychological behavior characteristics and parental psychological status of leukemia children in the early stage of treatment, analyze their relevance, and provide a basis for reducing the psychological and behavioral problems of leukemia children, improving treatment compliance and quality of life of leukemia children, promoting the recovery of diseases, and carrying out effective psychological intervention treatment.MethodsQuestionnaire survey methods are used,on-site surveys are conducted, and questionnaire scales are used for surveys. The questionnaire questionnaire has a questionnaire with basic information,a Chinese children’s gas quality table for children with leukemia and healthy children, and an Achenbach Children’s Behavior Assessment Scale(CBCL);Parents use the Parental Coping Scale(CHIP)and the Symptom Self-Assessment Scale(SCL-90).Analysis by judgment:1.Psychological and behavioral characteristics of children with leukemia 2.Research on the psychological status of parents of children with leukemia 3.Correlation analysis between the psychological and behavioral characteristics of children with leukemia and the psychological status of parents of children and their influencing factors.SPSS26.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis.Statistical methods include descriptive statistics,t-tests,chi-square tests,one-way ANOVA,Pearson correlation analysis, and multilinear regression analysis.Results1.Analysis results of temperament characteristics of children with leukemia:There were significant differences in the temperament dimensions of children in the leukemia group(n=61)and children in the control group(n=78):there were significant differences in activity level, adaptability, reaction intensity, emotional nature, distraction, persistence, and response threshold dimensions(P<0.01).There was no statistically significant difference in regularity and avoidance(P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences in regularity, distraction, and response threshold scores between children with leukemia in the 3-7 years group(n=38)and leukemia children aged 8-14 years(n=23)(P<0.05),and in avoidance and response intensity scores(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in temperament dimension scores between males(n=22)and females(n=16)with leukemia aged 3-7 years(P>0.05).There were significant differences in avoidance and distraction(P<0.05)in males(n=12)and females(n=11)in leukemia children aged 8-14 years(P<0.05),and there were significant differences in response intensity in response intensity between children with leukemia in the low-risk group(n=35)and the middle-to-high-risk group(n=21)(P<0.05).The distribution of temperament types in the leukemia group(n=61)and the control group(n=78)was compared:the proportion of easy type(type E)and intermediate near-easy type(I-E type)in the leukemia group was significantly higher than that in the normal control group, which was 34.4%and 24.6%,respectively;The normal group had the most slow start(S type),accounting for 38.5%,followed by the easy type(type E)accounting for 28.2%,the intermediate near easy type(I-E type)and the intermediate near trouble type(l-D type)accounting for 19.2%and 9.0%,and the trouble type(type D)the least, accounting for 5.1%.There were significant differences in temperament types between the two groups(P<0.01).Comparison of temperament types of children in different age groups:children with leukemia in the 3-7age group(n=38)and leukemia children aged 8-14 years(n=23)compared with the fisher exact probability method, the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=18.751,P<0.05).2.Leukemia children behavior characteristics analysis results:The total crude CBCL score of leukemia group(n=61)was(22.13±20.67),and that of control group(n=78)was(18.21±19.32),compared two groups of behavior factor score, discipline score had significant difference(P<0.05),the rest of the every factor score had no significant difference(P>0.05).Different age groups of leukemia children main behavior problems each factor score is:there are significant differences in sexual problems between children with leukemia aged 3-7(n=38)and children with leukemia aged 8-14(n=23)(P<0.05),there were no significant difference on the rest of the every factor score, there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Leukemia boy 3 to 7 years old group(n=22)and 3 to 7 years old control group boys(n=13)in hyperactivity, discipline score was lower than those of control group, there is significant(P<0.05).3 to 7 years old leukemia group(n=16)of the girls and girls 3 to 7 years old control group(n=8)in a divided sample, depression, and v,social withdrawal, hyperactivity, there was no significant difference(P>0.05).There were no significant differences in behavioral factors between boys aged 8-14 years(n=12)and boys aged 8-14 years(n=43)in the control group(P>0.05).8 to 14years old girls leukemia group(n=11)and 8 to 14,the control group(n=14)behavior factor of the girls was no significant difference(P>0.05).Boy leukemia group(n=34)the boy with the control(n=56)exist significant differences in terms of discipline(P<0.05),control group boys discipline score high in the leukemia group, appear more discipline.Girls leukemia group(n=27)and the control group(n=22)each factor of the girls was no significant difference(P>0.05).In low-risk group(n=35)with a high risk group(n=21)leukemia children CBCL behavior factor score results show that the behavior factor score was no significant difference(P>0.05).3.Analysis of the characteristics of the psychological status of parents of children with leukemia:SCL-90(128.59±44.92)and average score(1.42±0.49)points of parents of children with leukemia(n=61).Parents of children in the control group(n=78)had an overall score of SCL-90(110.45±30.19)and an average score of(1.22±0.33).There were very significant differences in the total score, total average score, somatization, depression, and anxiety between the two groups(P<0.01).In hostility, paranoid and psychotic score difference is significant(P<0.05),the rest of each factor, there was no significant difference(P>0.05).The proportion of mild and moderate anxiety in the parents of the leukemia group was 26.2%and 6.6%,respectively,the proportion of mild anxiety and moderate anxiety in the normal control group was 6.4%and 3.9%,respectively,and the degree of mild and moderate anxiety of the parents in the leukemia group was significantly higher than that of the parents in the control group, with significant differences, fisher exact probability method, the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=11.527,P<0.01).The proportion of mild depression and moderate depression in the leukemia group was 24.6%and 9.8%,respectively,the proportion of mild depression and moderate depression in the normal control group was 12.8%and 2.6%,respectively,and the degree of mild and moderate depression in the leukemia group was significantly higher than that of the parents in the control group, with significant differences, fisher exact probability method, the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=7.225,P<0.05).There were 45 entries for parents of leukemia children with a total score(175.59±24.01)and an average score of(58.53±8.00).Maintain family unity, cooperation and optimism totaled 19 entries, with dimension scores(86.74±8.02)and average entries(4.56±0.42).There were 19 items for seeking social support, maintaining self-esteem and psychological stability, with dimension scores(58.70±12.75)and average items(3.26±0.70).Through consultation with medical staff and communication with other parents, there were 8 items for the disease situation, with dimension scores(30.15±8.06)and average items(3.76±1.00).4.Leukemia children’s temperament characteristics and parents’psychological condition correlation analysis results:Leukemia children’s temperament characteristics, activity levels and parents SCL-90 in interpersonal relationship, depression, paranoia has significant positive correlation(P<0.05),regularity,flight from sex, perseverance and parents in the SCL-90 factors had no significant correlation(P>0.05).Adaptation and parents SCL-90 in interpersonal relationship, depression, terror was significantly positive correlation(P<0.05).Reaction intensity and parents force status, depression, anxiety, hostility, terror was significantly positive correlation(P<0.05).Emotional nature and parents somatization, force status, depression, anxiety, hostility, terror was significantly positive correlation(P<0.05).Attention dispersion and parents force status, depression, anxiety, hostility, terror, psychoticism was significantly positive correlation(P<0.05).Reaction threshold, temperament scores depression was significantly positively related with their parents(P<0.05).Leukemia children’s temperament characteristics in flight from sexual response with parents to keep family unity, cooperation and optimism has significant positive correlation(P<0.05),Total score, seeking social support and coping styles, maintaining self-esteem and mental stability, through the consult medical personnel and communicate with other parents, know the situation there was no significant(P>0.05).Activity levels, regularity, adaptability, reaction intensity, emotional nature, dispersion, perseverance, reaction threshold and leukemia children parents ways not significantly(P>0.05).5.Analysis of the correlation between the behavioral characteristics of children with leukemia and the psychological status of parents:The total rough score of CBCL in children with leukemia was significantly positively correlated with the total score of parental SCL-90 and various factors(P<0.01),there was no significant correlation between discipline violation and parental anxiety, compulsiveness was not significantly correlated with parental terror and paranoia, and the factors in the remaining behavioral characteristics were significantly positively correlated with the parental SCL-90 factors(P<0.01).Depression was significantly inversely associated with the coping style of parents of children with leukemia in CBCL behavioral characteristics in children with leukemia(P<0.05).Depression,poor communication, complaints, hyperactivity, aggression were significantly inversely associated with maintaining family unity, cooperation, and optimism(P<0.05).Depression,corporeal complaints, social withdrawal, hyperactivity, aggression, and overall mean points for coping style were significantly inversely and negatively correlated(P<0.05).Depression and social withdrawal were significantly inversely associated with seeking social support, maintaining self-esteem,and psychological stability(P<0.05).Depression,physical complaints, and information through consultation with healthcare providers and communication with other parents were significantly inversely associated(P<0.05).6.Analysis of factors influencing the psychological and behavioral characteristics of children with leukemia:The average score of parental depression in SCL-90,maintaining family unity in parental coping styles, cooperation and optimism, seeking social support, maintaining self-esteem and psychological stability, and whether they are only children are important influencing factors for the temperament characteristics of children with leukemia.SCL total scores, risk levels, consultation with healthcare providers and communication with other parents, understanding the situation, interpersonal relationships, and whether they are only children are important influencing factors in the behavioral characteristics of CBCL in children with leukemia.Conclusion1.The temperament characteristics and behavioral characteristics of children with leukemia are significantly different from those of healthy children.Children with leukemia in the 3-7 age group have poor biorhythms, are prone to withdrawal, have strong responses, are easily distracted, and have high response thresholds.Behavioral problems are more common in depression, physical complaints, and social withdrawal.Children with leukemia in the 8-14 age group tend to have a regular relative biological rhythm, are not easy to retreat,do not respond strongly, are not easy to distract, and have low response thresholds.Behavioral problems account for a higher proportion of complaints, attacks, and disciplinary violations.Children with leukemia in the low-risk group reacted strongly, were more likely to express their emotions, and had relatively good adaptability.2.The proportion of parents of children with leukemia who have anxiety and depression increases compared with that of parents of healthy children, and the psychological status of parents of children with leukemia is worse than that of parents of healthy children. Most of the parents’coping methods are mainly positive.3.There is a significant correlation between the temperament characteristics of children with leukemia and the psychological mood of parents, but not with the way parents cope. There was a significant positive correlation between the behavioral characteristics of children with leukemia and the psychological status of parents, and a significant negative correlation with the way parents responded.A variety of factors influence the psychological behavior of children with leukemia.According to the correlation and influencing factors between the psychological and behavioral characteristics of leukemia children and the psychological status of parents, corresponding interventions can be formulated to reduce the psychological and behavioral problems of leukemia children, improve the quality of life, and promote the recovery of the disease. |
