| ObjectiveThis study mainly discusses the effect of Clostridium butyricum on the inflammatory reaction and gastrointestinal reaction of patients with cholangiocarcinoma after chemotherapy,so as to explore the feasible clinical adjuvant therapy for patients with cholangiocarcinoma and provide support for the follow-up treatment of cholangiocarcinoma.MethodForty patients with cholangiocarcinoma who received chemotherapy in Qingdao Municipal Hospital from 2014 to 2020 were selected.Forty patients with cholangiocarcinoma were divided into Clostridium butyricum treatment group(group A,n = 20)and control group(group B,n = 20).Patients in group A were treated with Clostridium butyricum live bacteria capsules,3 capsules per time,2 times a day for 4weeks.The blood routine and liver function blood samples of patients in group A and B were collected before and after treatment, lymphocyte count, monocyte count, platelet count, neutrophil count and liver function indexes were obtained.Monocyte lymphocyte ratio(MLR),platelet lymphocyte ratio(PLR),neutrophil lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and systemic immune-inflammation index(SII)were calculated. The changes of inflammatory indexes and liver function were analyzed, and the changes of gastrointestinal adverse reactions of the two groups before and after treatment were observed to evaluate the effect of Clostridium butyricum on inflammatory indexes, liver function and gastrointestinal symptoms of patients with cholangiocarcinoma after chemotherapy.Result1.After treatment with Clostridium butyricum, the neutrophil count decreased in group A and increased in group B(P < 0.05).The lymphocyte count increased in group A and decreased in group B(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in platelet count and monocyte count between group A and group B(P > 0.05).2.After treatment with Clostridium butyricum,NLR decreased in group A and increased in group B(P < 0.05).PLR decreased in group A and increased in group B(P <0.05).SII in group a decreased and that in group B increased(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in MLR between group A and group B(P > 0.05).3.After treatment with Clostridium butyricum, the adverse reactions of digestive tract in group A were improved, which was significantly different from that in group B(P< 0.05).4.There was no significant change in liver function between group A and group B.ConclusionThis study shows that in patients with cholangiocarcinoma treated with Clostridium butyricum after chemotherapy, the biological indexes related to inflammation decreased significantly, which indicates that Clostridium butyricum effectively reduces the systemic inflammatory response. In addition,Clostridium butyricum plays a certain role in the improvement of gastrointestinal symptoms in patients undergoing chemotherapy, which provides help for the clinical adjuvant treatment of cholangiocarcinoma. |
