| Objectives: To evaluate the risk factors of semen quality of the adults in Guangxi. Methods: 369 men who came to Liuzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Guangxi to participate in reproductive health examination were investigated, and their semen quality was detected.Kruskal-Wallis test used analysis of variance, multiple linear regression、binary logistic and Decision Tree analysis to explore the potential influencing factors of semen quality. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Results: There were significant differences in the influence of ages(years)growth on the forward motility percentage of sperm(β=-0.45,P<0.05);Wireless fidelity at home reduced the percentage of forward movement(β=-8.93,P<0.05).In the multi variate analysis of total sperm count, compared with the participants who never smoked, the total sperm count of those who often smoked(≥20tubes / day)decreased(β=-0.12,P<0.05).In the multivariate analysis of total vitality, the effects of different ages(years)on total vitality were statistically different(β=-0.01,P<0.05).In the multivariate analysis of semen volume, the effects of different ages(years)on semen volume were statistically different(β=-0.01,P<0.05).In the multivariate analysis of normal morphology percentage, smoking reduced the normal morphology percentage(β=-0.03,P < 0.05;β=-0.04,P < 0.05);Compared with those who never depressed, sometimes the percentage of normal morphology of depressed people decreased(β=-0.04,P<0.05);Compared with those without eating out habits, the percentage of normal morphology of diners decreased(β=-0.05,P<0.05;β=-0.05,P<0.05;β=-0.06,P<0.05);Regular eating onion increased the percentage of normal morphology(β=0.06,P<0.05).The results of binary logistic model were as follows: Compared with those who had never been depressed, those who felt depressed sometimes had a higher risk of asthenospermia(OR=1.883,95%CI:1.094~3.240);Compared with those who did not eat onions often, those who ate onions often had a higher risk of oligozoospermia(OR=2.854,95%CI:1.231~6.619);Compared with never smokers, regular smokers(≥20 cigarettes / day)had a higher risk of teratospermia(OR=2.145,95%CI:1.224~3.758);Compared with those who never eat out, those who eat out more than 5 times / week have a higher risk of teratospermia(OR=3.042,95% CI: 1.084 ~ 8.535).Decision tree analysis showed that demographic characteristics, psychological status,work-related factors, lifestyle and diet were the influencing factors of asthenospermia, oligozoospermia and teratospermia. Conclusions: This study shows that semen quality may be related to demographic characteristics, disease history and psychological status,work-related factors, lifestyle and diet. |
