Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Ligusticum rhizomatous anti-stasis cream in the treatment of thrombosed external hemorrhoids(Qi stagnation and blood stasis),to explore the effect of this drug in improving the symptoms of thrombosed external hemorrhoids, and to explore a more effective drug for the clinical treatment of this disease. Methods:Sixty patients with thrombosed external hemorrhoids who met the inclusion criteria were randomly split into a treatment group(rhizome anti-stasis cream group)and a control group(compound keratinise cream group i.e.taining cream group),with 30 cases in each group. The differences in clinical efficacy between the two groups were observed according to the symptom scores of anal pain, anal swelling, lesion swelling size, foreign body sensation, lesion skin color before and after treatment and the comparison of the total effective rate of the two groups.Results:1.There was no statistically significant difference between the general information of the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05),and all were comparable.2.Before treatment, there was not any statistically significant difference between the two groups in each symptom score and total score of anal pain, anal swelling, lesion swelling size, foreign body sensation and lesion skin color(P>0.05),which were comparable.3.After treatment, the symptom score of the above five aspects in both groups was lower than those before treatment in the same group, with significant differences(P<0.05).4.after treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups in the pain degree points compared with each other group(P>0.05);while there was a significant difference between the two groups in the other four symptom points compared with each other(P<0.05).5.The total effective rate of the treated group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Ligusticum rhizomatous eliminates stasis cream provides a more effective treatment for thrombosed external hemorrhoids with Qi stagnation and blood stasis.
