| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Tongdu Xingshen Acupuncture Method on patients with vascular dementia(Va D)and the effect on homocysteine(Hcy).Methods: 60 patients with vascular dementia who met the diagnostic criteria were randomly divided into observation group and control group,30 cases in each group,both groups were treated with basic treatment,the observation group was treated by Tongdu Xingshen Acupuncture Method,the control group was treated by conventional acupuncture method,both groups were acupunctured for 6 days a week,rested for 1 day,a total of 4weeks of treatment,before and after treatment,the patient’s simple mental status examination scale(MMSE),vascular dementia cognitive part assessment scale(Va DAS-Cog),changes in the basic daily living energy scale(BADL)score and plasma hcy level were evaluated to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two groups.Results:1.After treatment,MMSE score,Va DAS-Cog score,BADL score,and plasma Hcy level were significantly improved compared with before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.The efficacy of the Acupuncture Method Group was better than that of the ordinary Acupuncture Group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The total effectiveness rate of Va D treatment in the observation group was 86.66%,and the overall effectiveness rate of Va D treatment in the control group was 63.33%,and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Tongdu Xingshen acupuncture can improve the cognitive function and daily living ability of patients with vascular dementia.2.Tongdu xingshen acupuncture can reduce the plasma Hcy level of patients with vascular dementia.3.Both Tongdu Xingshen acupuncture and conventional acupuncture can treat vascular dementia,and the curative effect of Tongdu Xingshen acupuncture is better than that of conventional acupuncture. |
