Clinical Observation Of Wrist-ankle Acupuncture Combined With Oral Jitongxiao Capsule In The Treatment Of Cervical Spondylosis Radiculopathy

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with oral Jitongxiao capsule in the treatment of Cervical spondylosis radiculopathy(CSR),explore its possible mechanism of action,and provide a new method and idea for the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Methods:A total of 105 patients with CSR who were treated in the orthopedic clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine between January 2021 and December 2021 were selected.They were randomly divided into comprehensive treatment group,wrist-ankle acupuncture group,and Traditional Chinese medicine group by random number table method.The comprehensive treatment group was treated with wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with oral Jitongxiao capsule;the wrist-ankle acupuncture group was treated with wrist-ankle acupuncture alone;the Traditional Chinese medicine group was treated with oral Jitongxiao capsule.Each group was treated for two weeks as a course of treatment,with a total of1 course of treatment.The visual analogue scale(VAS)score,The Neck Disability Index(NDI)score,Yasuhisa Tanaka 20(YT20)Score,and total effective rate were compared before and after treatment in the three groups,and statistical analysis was conducted.Results:1.A total of 105 patients were included in this study,and 35 patients were included in the comprehensive treatment group,including 3patients who fell out.In the wrist-ankle acupuncture group,35 patients were included and3 patient was excluded.In the Traditional Chinese medicine group,35 patients were included and 4patient was detached.Finally,32 cases in the comprehensive treatment group,32 cases in the wrist-ankle acupuncture group,and 31 cases in the Traditional Chinese medicine group were included in the statistical analysis.2.Compare three groups after treatment in patients with total effective rate,the comprehensive treatment group was 94%,the wrist-ankle acupuncture group was 87%,the Traditional Chinese medicine group was 84%,the comprehensive treatment group total effectiveness is better than the wristankle acupuncture group and the Traditional Chinese medicine group,the difference was statistically significant(P=0.04<0.05)。3.After treatment,the VAS scores in the three groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The VAS scores in the comprehensive treatment group were lower than those in the wrist-ankle acupuncture group and the Traditional Chinese medicine group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but there was no statistical difference between the wrist-ankle acupuncture group and the Traditional Chinese medicine group(P>0.05).4.After treatment,the NDI scores of patients in the three groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The NDI scores of patients in the comprehensive treatment group were lower than that in the wrist-ankle acupuncture group and the Traditional Chinese medicine group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but the NDI scores of patients in the wrist-ankle acupuncture group and the Traditional Chinese medicine group had no statistical significance(P>0.05).5.After treatment,the scores and total scores of YT20 in the three groups were significantly lower than before treatment,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The scores and total scores of YT20 in the comprehensive treatment group were lower than those in the wrist-ankle acupuncture group and the Traditional Chinese medicine group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in the scores and total scores of YT20 between the wrist-ankle acupuncture group and the Traditional Chinese medicine group(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.Wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with oral Jitongxiao capsule can effectively relieve pain in CSR patients,improve cervical spine function,symptoms,and signs of CSR patients,and improve the quality of life and work of patients.2.Wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with oral Jitongxiao capsule has a significant effect on CSR,which is superior to wrist-ankle acupuncture alone and oral Jitongxiao capsule alone.
