Objective:Combining imaging technology with traditional medicine, observing and comparing the changes in the activation areas of Shenmen points and non-acupuncture points brain function in healthy volunteers of acupuncture, and studying the correlation between the specificity of the activation brain area of acupuncture Shenmen points and its clinical indications for diseases, comparing the changes in low frequency amplitude(ALFF)of the functional activation areas of the brain before and after acupuncture Shenmen points, deeply exploring the brain nerve mechanism of Shenmen points from different tenses of acupuncture, and comparing and analyzing the central difference between the immediate effect of acupuncture and the sequelae effect of acupuncture. It provides imaging basis for the specific study of acupuncture points and theoretical support for the selection of clinical acupuncture points for acupuncture.Method:18 healthy volunteers who met the inclusion criteria were selected, all of whom were right-handed,and each volunteer was subjected to two trials of acupuncture Shenmen points and corresponding non-acupuncture points, with an interval of 7 days before and after the two trials. In this experiment,Philips 3.0T dual-source dual-gradient magnetic resonance scanner was used to collect the brain Bold-f MRI data of the resting state before acupuncture, the acupuncture task state(acupuncture state)and the resting state after acupuncture were collected.Based on MATLAB 2017 a,the image data processing and result presentation were obtained using DPASFA and xj View software, and then the image data was statistically analyzed using SPM12.Finally,the location, voxel value, activation intensity and the before and after ALFF value were obtained of acupuncture Shenmen points and corresponding non-acupuncture points.Results:1.Acupuncture Shenmen points have different positive activation brain functional areas compared with the corresponding non-acupuncture points:left cerebellum, right orbital superior frontal gyrus(BA11),left orbital midfrontal gyrus(BA10),right orbital midfrontal gyrus(BA11),left orbital inferior frontal gyrus, left central anterior gyrus(BA6),right complementary motor area(BA6).2.Acupuncture Shenmen points have different negatively activated brain functional areas compared with corresponding non-acupuncture points: left glossal gyrus(BA37),left thalamus(BA25),left islamic insula(BA13),left caudate nucleus, right hippocampus, right dorsolateral superior frontal gyrus(BA10),left occipital gyrus(BA19).3.The ALFF-increasing brain areas were compared with the former and later resting states of acupuncture: right cerebellum, left cerebellum, left suboccutaneous gyrus(BA19),right hippocampal gyrus(BA20),left inferior frontal gyrus(BA20),right ascending temporal gyrus(BA21),right central anterior gyrus(BA2),left margin upper gyrus(BA40),left central anterior gyrus(BA6).4.The ALFF-decreasing brain areas were compared with the former and later resting states of acupuncture: right wedge anterior lobe(BA7),right horn gyrus(BA39),left thalamus, right orbital midfrontal gyrus(BA11),left temporal pole superior temporal gyrus(BA32).5.The ALFF-increasing brain areas were compared with the acupuncture later resting states and acupuncture states: left orbital midfrontal gyrus(BA11),right frontal midriff(BA10),right inferior temporal gyrus(BA20),left mid temporal gyrus(BA21),left medial epicral gyrus(BA6),left central anterior gyrus(BA2).6.The ALFF-decreasing brain areas were compared with the acupuncture later resting states and acupuncture states: left central sulcus(BA13),left middle frontal gyrus(BA10),left insula(BA13),left insula(BA13),left bean-shaped globus pllidus(BA25),and left glossal gyrus(BA7).Conclusion:1.Acupuncture Shenmen points correspond to non-acupuncture-specific can activate cerebellum, orbital midfrontal gyrus, thalamus, instillation, dorsolateral supraphalus and other brain functional areas, these brain areas mainly regulate human spirit, consciousness, movement and pain and other related functions, may be acupuncture Shenmen points in the clinic can treat the heart and deliac related diseases potential central nervous system mechanism.2.By comparing the changes in the ALFF of the functional areas of the former and later brains of acupuncture,it is shown that the activity of neurons after needle extraction still has a certain delay effect, which confirms that there is not only an immediate effect but also a sequelae effect.3.Although acupuncture has sequelae effects, compared with the acupuncture immediate effect, the activation intensity and quantity of brain areas are significantly weakened, and the clinical treatment value is relatively limited, while the acupuncture immediate effect is specific and closely related to the clinical indications of acupuncture, which plays a decisive role in clinical treatment, suggesting that the clinic should pay more attention to the immediate effect of acupuncture.
