Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of the method combining insidious pathogen purpura decoction with primary therapy on the treatment of pediatric Henoch-Sch?nlein Purpura in patients with syndrome of bleeding due to blood heat based on the theory of “fire-syndrome resulting from insidious pathogenic factors”,analyze the efficacy results of this therapy on the treatment of pediatric Henoch-Sch?nlein Purpura, and conduct preliminary discussion about the clinical mechanism of treating the pediatric Henoch-Sch?nlein Purpura by this theory.Method:70 pediatric patients suffering Henoch-Sch?nlein Purpura with syndrome of bleeding due to blood heat and satisfying the selection criteria were included in this study, and divided into a 35-cases observation group and a35-cases control group according to the random number table approach. On the basis that both groups accepted conventional treatment, the patients in the observation group additionally took insidious pathogen purpura decoction during the treatment. As for the treatment time, both the two groups accepted14 d therapy. Then a number of factors were compared between the two groups, including: the efficacy before and after therapy, the efficacy scores of Chinese medicine symptom, clinical symptom and physical signs, and purpura regression time.Meanwhile, routine urine tests were carried out to analyze the changes in occult blood. All patients were followed up 1 month after drug withdrawal. The SPSS 26.0 software was adopted to conduct statistics and analysis on research data. Results:As for the improvement rate, the pediatric patients in observation group was 91.43%,which is better than 71.43% of the control group(P<0.05);for the improvement rate of the TCM syndrome, the pediatric patients in observation group was 94.29%,which is better than 65.71% of the control group(P<0.05);after taking 14 d treatment, the conditions of the observation group were better than the control group in aspects of total TCM syndrome scores, score of main TCM syndrome, and score of secondary TCM syndrome(P<0.05);after taking 14 d treatment, the observation group was better than the control group in purpura severity, color of purpura, face red, lips red, sore throat, swollen throat, and constipation symptoms(P<0.05).The two groups showed similar efficacy in thirsty and sweating syndrome(P>0.05).For the time of total regression of purpura, the observation group was(9.43±1.99)d,while the control group was(13.2±2.99)d,which indicates the observation group was better than the control group in this aspect(P<0.05).The follow-up investigation about the cases reaching curative criteria 1 month after the end of their treatment showed that,as for the clearance rate of persimal blood in urinary routine test, the observation group was 84.62%,which is better than the control group of 20.00%(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Clinical efficacy of using insidious pathogen purpura decoction together with basic treatment based on the theory of “fire-syndrome resulting from insidious pathogenic factors” is better than only basic treatment.2.The method of using insidious pathogen purpura decoction together with basic treatment based on the theory of “fire-syndrome resulting from insidious pathogenic factors” can improve the TCM syndromes, single syndrome, and clearance rates of persimal blood and urinary protein in urinary routine test of pediatric Henoch-Sch?nlein Purpura(with syndrome of bleeding due to blood heat).
