Objective:To study the status quo of cancer-induced fatigue, sleep quality and quality of life in patients with breast cancer after chemotherapy, and to analyze the influencing factors of fatigue, the correlation between fatigue and sleep and quality of life.To investigate the intervention effect of inhalation aromatherapy combined with essential oil acupoint massage on cancer-induced fatigue in patients with postoperative chemotherapy for breast cancer, and to provide a reference intervention method for improving the symptoms of patients. Methods:Part Ⅰ: Investigation, convenience sampling method was used to select 122 patients with breast cancer postoperative chemotherapy in a tertiary a tumor hospital in Shanxi Province from April to September 2021 as the research subjects, and 120 patients were completed. The General data questionnaire, piper fatigue Revision Scale,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),and the Quality of Life Scale of Cancer Patients(EORTC-QLQ-C30)were used to understand the fatigue, sleep and quality of life in postoperative breast cancer chemotherapy patients, and to analyze the influencing factors of cancer fatigue(CRF)and its correlation with sleep and quality of life.Part Ⅱ: experimental research,Selected by convenience sampling from July 2021 to November in the mammary gland of a third rate in Shanxi Province tumor hospital of the first part of the investigation and study in accord with moderately severe fatigue,76 cases of patients with postoperative chemotherapy of breast cancer as the research object, using flip a coin to two randomized, ward, breast, two units for test group breast a ward of the control group,A total of 73 patients completed the study,38 in each ward. The control group was given routine nursing, and the experimental group was given inhalation aromatherapy combined with essential oil acupoint massage on the basis of routine nursing, starting from the first day of chemotherapy intervention, continuous intervention for 21 days. The fatigue level, sleep status and quality of life were measured by Piper Revised Fatigue Scale,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and Cancer Patient Quality of Life Scale(EORTC-QLQ-C30)before and 21 days after intervention.Results:1.The survey results show that:(1)The total score of fatigue in postoperative chemotherapy patients for breast cancer(4.82±1.81)was moderate, with the highest sensory dimension score, followed by emotional fatigue, behavioral fatigue, and the lowest cognitive fatigue score.(2)The total sleep score(8.56 ± 0.40)was poor overall sleep quality;with the highest score of 100 and the lowest score of 0,The total quality of life score in this survey was 50.00(41.67,66.70),which is at the medium level. In the functional dimensions, social function has the lowest score, symptom dimension, fatigue dimension has the highest score, and economic difficulty dimension in the other dimensions.(3)The total score of cancer fatigue and behavioral, emotional, cognitive and sleep were significantly positively correlated(P<0.05),and the total score of cancer fatigue and each dimension were significantly negatively correlated with overall quality of life(P<0.01).(4)The results of univariate analysis showed significant differences in occupation, pathological stage and combined complications(P<0.05).(5)After breast cancer chemotherapy total score of cancer fatigue, univariate analysis and the multiple linear regression analysis, the results show that occupation, sleep total score,no complications can explain 22.7% of the fatigue, and there is a significant linear relationship(F=6.827,P<0.001).2.Experimental research results show that:(1)General data, cancer fatigue, sleep quality and quality of life of the two groups before the intervention(P>0.05).(2)The total score of fatigue and the score of each dimension of the intervention group were lower than that of the control group, which was significant(P<0.05).The total score of fatigue and score of each dimension were lower than that of the intervention, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Sleep quality, sleep duration, sleep disturbance, daytime dysfunction score and total sleep score decreased in the control group(P<0.05)compared with the control group, and sleep quality, sleep duration, sleep efficiency, sleep disturbance, daytime dysfunction score and total sleep score decreased after the intervention(P<0.05).(4)After the intervention, the total quality of life, physical function, emotional function, role function, and social function scores were higher than those of the control group, while the fatigue, pain, nausea, vomiting, and insomnia scores were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).(5)Except for the three dimensions of shortness of breath, diarrhea and economic difficulties, the scores of the other dimensions were significantly different(P<0.05),the overall health status and functional dimensions were higher than before the intervention, and the three symptom dimensions, insomnia, loss of appetite and constipation were lower than before the intervention. Conclusion:Cancer fatigue, poor sleep quality, and quality of life are common in patients with breast cancer after chemotherapy.Cancer-related fatigue is closely related to sleep and quality of life: the more severe the degree of cancer-related fatigue, the worse the sleep quality and quality of life.Inhalation aromatherapy combined with essential oil acupoint massage can improve the cancer-related fatigue of patients with breast cancer after chemotherapy and improve the quality of life, thus providing reference for the management of cancer-related fatigue. |
