Objective:To investigate the effect of incomplete intestinal obstruction on the risk of preoperative reflux and aspiration in patients with colon cancer surgery..Methods:A total of 293 patients who met the inclusion criteria and planned to undergo elective surgery in the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from March 2020 to January 2022 were selected as subjects in a cross-sectional study. The patients with colon cancer surgery were divided into S group and C group according to whether they were combined with incomplete intestinal obstruction.Among them, there were 146 patients in group S with incomplete intestinal obstruction before operation, and 147 patients in group C without incomplete intestinal obstruction before operation.Obstructive patients.Ultrasonography of the gastric antrum was performed before operation, the cross-sectional area(CSA)of the gastric antrum in the right lateral position was measured, and the gastric volume(GV)and gastric volume per body weight of the two groups of patients were further calculated.Body mass ratio(GV/weight,GV/W).Gastric emptying status and risk of reflux aspiration were assessed by comparing the differences in CSA,GV and GV/W between the two groups. Results:Compared with group C,the CSA,GV and GV/W of patients in group S were significantly increased in the right lateral decubitus position(P<0.001),and the difference was statistically significant;the proportion of patients with high risk of reflux aspiration in group S was higher(P=0.032),the difference was statistically significant. The results of multivariate Logistic regression analysis indicated that incomplete intestinal obstruction was the influencing factor for the risk of preoperative reflux aspiration(OR=2.145;95% CI 1.096-4.198;P=0.026).ConclusionColon cancer complicated with incomplete intestinal obstruction can lead to significantly increased preoperative CSA,GV and GV/W,and delayed gastric emptying, resulting in a higher risk of preoperative reflux aspiration.
