Objective:To explore the correlation and clinical significance between serum bile acid level and atrial fibrillation in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction patients with hypertension. Methods:The clinical data of 184 heart failure with preserved ejection fraction patients with hypertension who were hospitalized in the Cardiovascular Department of the Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January 2018 to October 2021 were collected,including:(1)General data: age, gender,BMI,systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, smoking history;(2)Laboratory data: TBA,ALT,AST,TBIL,ALB,Cr,UREA,NT-pro BNP;(3)Echocardiographic data: LAD,LVEDD,LVEF.1.Based on whether combined with atrial fibrillation, the patients were grouped into the heart failure with preserved ejection fraction with atrial fibrillation group(HFpEF-AF group)and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction without atrial fibrillation group(HFpEF-non AF group). The differences in general data, laboratory data and echocardio-graphic data between the two groups were compared.2.Based on TBA level,HFpEF patients were divided into the higher TBA group and the lower TBA group, and the proportion of atrial fibrillation between the two groups were compared.3.With the occurrence of atrial fibrillation in HFpEF patients as the dependent variable, the Logistic regression analysis of the occurrence of atrial fibrillation in HFpEF patients was performed.4.ROC curve was used to evaluate the predictive efficacy of age,TBA and LAD when atrial fibrillation struck patients with HFpEF.Results:1.Age,Serum TBA and LAD in the HFpEF-AF group were significantly higher than those in the HFpEF-non AF group.2.The proportion of atrial fibrillation in the higher TBA group was higher than that in the lower TBA group, and the difference was statistically significant.3.Logistic regression analysis indicated that the patient’s age,TBA and LAD were independent influencing factors of atrial fibrillation in HFpEF patients.4.The patient’s age,Serum TBA levels and LAD have a predictive effect when atrial fibrillation struck patients with HFpEF to a certain extent. Conclusion:The age, serum total bile acid level and left atrial dimension in patients with preserved ejection fraction heart failure accompanied by atrial fibrillation is significantly increased. The age, serum total bile acid level and left atrial dimension may be the independent influencing factor of the occurrence of atrial fibrillation for patients with preserved ejection fraction heart failure.
