| Objective: Observe the clinical effect of Heying Zhitong decoction on axial symptoms(qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome in traditional Chinese Medicine)after anterior cervical surgery for cervical spondylotic myelopathy,to further promote the postoperative rehabilitation of patients and provide a theoretical basis for the treatment and relief of postoperative axial symptoms. Methods: 60 patients who underwent anterior cervical decompression, fusion and internal fixation in the spine surgery of Fuzhou second hospital due to cervical spondylotic myelopathy from January 2021 to December 2021 were selected. They were diagnosed with axial symptoms(qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome in traditional Chinese Medicine)and voluntarily participated in the study and signed the informed consent.According to the random number table method, they were divided into experimental group and control group. After operation, both groups were treated with functional exercise + routine rehydration, pain relief and phlegm resolving. The experimental group was given Heying Zhitong decoction plus reduced oral administration under basic treatment.Follow up was conducted before treatment,1 week after treatment,4 weeks after treatment and 2 months after treatment.VAS score,Tsuji score,NDI score and curative effect evaluation of the two groups before and after treatment were collected and recorded.Results:1.The general information of the two groups(age, gender, course of disease, length of operation and amount of bleeding)was flush at the baseline, and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).VAS score,NDI index, axial symptoms were no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).2.The cervical VAS scores of the two groups at 1 week,4 weeks and 2 months after treatment were lower than those before treatment(Ρ< 0.05),and gradually decreased with time, and there were statistical differences in the evaluation scores at different times(Ρ<0.05).The VAS score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group 4weeks and 2 months after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(Ρ< 0.05).3.The NDI index of the two groups at 1 week,4 weeks and 2 months after treatment decreased compared with that before treatment(Ρ< 0.05),and gradually decreased with time, and there were statistical differences in the evaluation scores at different times(Ρ< 0.05).4weeks and 2 months after treatment, the NDI index of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(Ρ< 0.05).4.The axial symptom scores of the two groups at 1 week,4 weeks and 2 months after treatment were higher than those before treatment(Ρ< 0.05),and gradually increased with time, and the evaluation scores at different times were statistically different(Ρ< 0.05).The scores of axial symptoms in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group 4 weeks and 2 months after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(Ρ< 0.05).5.The total effective rate of the experimental group was 92.9%,while that of the control group was 74.1%(P = 0.03 < 0.05).Therefore,there was a difference in the therapeutic effect between the two groups two months after treatment. The curative effect evaluation of the experimental group was better than that of the control group. Conclusion: The modified Heying Zhitong decoction combined with oral celecoxib and oral celecoxib alone can improve the axial symptoms of qi stagnation and blood stasis after anterior cervical surgery of cervical spondylotic myelopathy, but the modified Heying Zhitong decoction group has better curative effect and is more conducive to promote the postoperative functional rehabilitation of patients. |
