Objective:By combing the general situation of the name of "malaria" before the Tang Dynasty,it will clarify the naming and classification of "malaria",distinguish and analyze the "jie","shan" and "zhang" related to the meaning of "malaria".Methods:Literature surveys method were used to screen and identify and collate the malaria related articles,the original articles of malaria related diseases were screened and identified respectively,the previous literature of the Tang Dynasty was based on the previous literature,and the representative literature of later years was used as the main text of " malaria",so as to establish a database of " malaria " name information;Using the methods of exegesis,mutual evidence between arts and science and medical theory,this paper focuses on the meaning and evolution of the name of "malaria" in various documents before the Tang Dynasty;Using the method of comparative study,the names of "malaria" in the literature of the same era were compared synchronically.The contemporary literature "malaria" is compared diachronically to analyze the difference and relationship between the names of "malaria" diseases,ang clarify the relationship between the names of various "malaria" diseases,and present the evolution context of the disease names of "malaria" before the Tang Dynasty.Results: " Malaria " is a common epidemic in ancient China,and the traditional "malaria" is different from the modern malaria.The "malaria" disease referred to in traditional Chinese medicine includes a variety of disease syndromes with "cold and heat rest" as the main symptoms.By sorting out the names of "malaria" before the Pre-Qin and Han Dynasties to the Tang Dynasty,and analyzing the naming law,it is found that the names of "malaria" related diseases include three elements: disease location,etiology,pathogenesis and symptom characteristics.Different diseases have same name is common in "malaria" : stomach malaria and food malaria;"pin malaria" and "mu malaria";"dan malaria" and "summer malaria";"Lao malaria","Lao malaria","malaria mu" and "long-term malaria",etc."jie","shan" and "zhang" all have the meaning of "malaria",but they are obviously different.In a narrow sense,"jie" only refers to the "malaria" of "one attack every two days";In a narrow sense,"shan" only refers to "hot malaria";The part of "zhang" with the meaning of "malaria" only refers to "falciparum malaria".Conclusion:By sorting out the names of malaria from the pre Qin and Han Dynasties to the Tang Dynasty and probing into its naming rules.We believe that the names of "malaria" related diseases include three elements: disease location,etiology,pathogenesis and symptom characteristics.By summarizing the law of the development and change of "malaria" disease names,and studying on the connotation and characteristics of malaria.To Provide research basis and academic data for the standardization of the names of "malaria" diseases in traditional Chinese Medicine.This paper systematically sums up malaria,It will contribute to the understanding of the name of "malaria" in the handed down literature and ancient Chinese medicine literature.To reduce the disorder of the names of malaria like diseases in ancient books and documents and in order to help the standardization of TCM disease names and provide some inspiration and thinking for the clinical treatment of malaria in traditional Chinese medicine. |
