Objective:According to the theoretical basis that adequate stool volume, moderate stool quality, coordinated intestinal motility and smooth export are necessary for normal defecation, oat and Zhishi Xiaopi Pill were taken orally after hemorrhoidectomy for constipation patients, and compared with compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder,a commonly used laxative in clinic,to explore the application effect of oat and Zhishi Xiaopi Pill in stool management after hemorrhoidectomy for constipation patients,so as to provide objective basis for clinical application. Methods:According to the diagnostic criteria,122 patients with constipation and mixed hemorrhoids who were hospitalized for surgical treatment from October 1,2019 to December 1,2020 were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 61 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with "external stripping and internal ligation of mixed hemorrhoids".After operation, the treatment group was given oat and Zhishi Xiaopi pills, while the control group was given compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder orally. Both groups were given antibiotics and prophylactic treatment. To observe the differences between the two groups in defecation regularity, fecal characteristics, defecation effort, defecation time, abdominal symptoms, anal swelling, bleeding during defecation, pain, wound healing time, postoperative curative effect, recurrence rate and adverse events. The data were analyzed by SPSS22.0 statistical software. Results:There was no significant difference in age, course of disease, sex composition, accompanying symptoms and classification of external hemorrhoids between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in fecal characteristics, bleeding during defecation and defecation effort in the first week after operation between the two groups(P>0.05).There were significant differences in defecation effort(2nd and 4th week),anal swelling feeling(2nd and 4th week),pain during defecation(7th day),defecation time, defecation frequency, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, postoperative curative effect, wound healing time and recurrence rate between the two groups(P<0.05).No adverse events occurred in the two groups. Conclusion:Oats combined with Zhishi Xiaopi Pill has a positive effect on stool management of constipation patients after hemorrhoidectomy.Compared with compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder,it can make patients defecate regularly, increase stool volume without increasing times, make stool fluffy without diarrhea, and defecate smoothly and effortlessly, which is helpful for one-time emptying of stool, thus reducing abdominal distension, sacrococcygeal and perianal distention and incomplete defecation caused by poor defecation, and reducing the stimulation of poor defecation on anal wounds and relieving pain during defecation.
