Objective: The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical effect and safety of nourishing kidney and activating collaterals on patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis in the sequelae of cerebral infarction in the elderly,and to find an effective method for the intervention and treatment of clinical traditional Chinese medicine in the future.Methods:According to the inclusion criteria,elderly patients with cerebral infarction sequelae and syndrome of kidney deficiency and blood stasis who were hospitalized in the Department of Geriatrics,Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,were selected as the research subjects,and 60 eligible subjects were divided into the control group of 30 patients and the treatment group of 30 patients according to the random number table method;The control group was given basic western medicine treatment for cerebral infarction;on this basis,the treatment group added the tutor experience formula: nourishing kidney active formula.After 8 weeks of treatment,it was a course of treatment.Using SPSS25.0 for unified analysis and processing of the collected data.The changes in the efficacy score,daily life activity ability(ADL)and the stroke scale(NIHSS)score of the two groups before and after treatment were observed.At the same time,the level changes of plasma homocysteine(Hcy),superoxide dismutase(SOD)and nitric oxide(NO)were detected and the data of each indicator were analyzed.Results:1.TCM syndrome points: The effect of improving TCM syndrome score in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group.The treatment group has an efficiency of 83.3%,the control group is 60%,and P<0.05.The difference is statistically significant.2.Efficacy of single TCM syndrome points: At the end of the course of treatment,the treatment group had significantly lower TCM syndrome scores in five single TCM symptoms of limb numbness,dizziness,headache,waist and knee soreness and fatigue than the control group,P<0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.3.Neurological defect score: the NIHSS score of both groups decreased after treatment,and the degree of improvement of NIHSS score in the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group,P<0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.4.Ability to perform daily living(BI index): both groups can increase the patient’s ADL score,and the effect of the treatment group in improving the ADL score is significantly better than that in the control group,P<0.05,the difference is statistically significant.5.Laboratory indicators: both groups can improve plasma Hcy,SOD,NO levels,the treatment group to reduce the level of plasma Hcy is significantly better than the control group,P<0.05,the difference is statistically significant.6.There were no obvious adverse reactions in all cases under clinical observation,and the safety was good.Conclusion: The kidney activation method represented by the kidney activation method can effectively improve the limb numbness,dizziness,headache,waist and knee soreness and fatigue of elderly patients with post-cerebral infarction sequelae,promote the repair of nerve function of defects,improve the patient’s independent living ability,improve the quality of life,and can reduce the plasma Hcy level,increase SOD and NO levels,strong safety,worthy clinical promotion and application. |
