| Objective : By observing the clinic effects of Shenli Zhenwutang in treating chronic heart failure(shaoyin disease),this study comprehensively evaluates the clinical value of syndrome differentiation of six channels theory in guiding the treatment of chronic heart failure and provides research data for further promoting syndrome differentiation of six channels theory in treating chronic heart failure.Methods:This study selected totally 64 patients suffering from chronic heart failure by rule of the inclusion criteria,who were divided into two groups,namely the treatment group(32 patients)and the control group(32patients)based on the method of medicine administration.Western medicine was used to treat patients in the control group;whereas patients in the treatment group also took Shenli Zhenwutang orally in addition to the abovementioned western medicine treatment.The NT-pro BNP,left ventricular ejection fraction(LIVE),6 min walking test distance,clinical effects of western medicine(therapeutic effect for cardiac function),clinical effects of traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of the two groups before and after the treatment were observed 30 days later.The therapeutic effect of Shenli Zhenwutang in treating chronic heart failure(shaoyin disease)was then assessed through statistical analysis.Results: 1.Comparison of NT-pro BNP: the post-treatment BNP level of both groups declined to some extent;and the treatment group prevailed over the control group with respect to the therapeutic effect.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Comparison of LVEF : the LVEF of both groups increased to a certain extent after the treatment,and the intra-group comparison difference was of statistical significance(P<0.05).It was discovered by comparing the two groups that the effect of increasing LVEF for the treatment group obviously exceeded that of the control group after the treatment.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.Comparison of 6 min walking test distance: after the treatment,the 6 min walking distance increased in both groups to some extent.The difference was of statistical significance(P<0.05).After the treatment,it was found by comparing the two groups that the treatment group was superior to the control group in regards to the effects of increasing the 6 min walking distance.The difference was of statistically significance(P<0.05).4.Comparison of clinical effects of western medicine(therapeutic effect on cardiac function):the overall effective rate was 86.67%(the treatment group)and 66.67%(the control group),indicating that the effect for the treatment group obviously preceded that of the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Comparison of clinical effects of traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score: the overall effective rate was 90.00%(the treatment group)and 70.00%(the control group),reflecting that the effect for the treatment group evidently surpassed that of the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score after the treatment declined to some extent.The difference was of statistical significance(P<0.05).It can be observed by comparing the two groups that the effect of reducing the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score for the control group was obviously inferior to that of the treatment group after the treatment.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Based on the guidance of syndrome differentiation of six channels theory in Treatise on Febrile Diseases,Shenli Zhenwutang could effectively improve the traditional Chinese medicine syndromes and cardiac functions of patients with chronic heart failure(shaoyin disease),reduce NT-pro BNP level,increase left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),enhance6 min walking distance,raise the clinic effective rate of patients,and further advance their quality of life.Hence,Shenli Zhenwutang is worthy of clinical application and promotion. |
