Clinical Observation Of Wutou Decoction Combined With Guizhi Fuling Pill Plus And Minus In The Treatment Of Diabetes Lower-extremity Arterial Disease Of Cold Accumulation-caused Blood Stasis Type

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Wutou decoction combined with Guizhi Fuling Pill in the treatment of lower extremity arterial disease in type 2 diabetes mellitus with cold coagulation and blood stasis,so as to provide a new idea for the treatment of this disease with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: 90 diabetic patients with lower extremity arterial disease were randomly divided into treatment group(n = 45)and control group(n = 45).Patients in both groups were given basic treatment of diabetes combined with oral beprostaglandin sodium tablets(40ug Tid).Patients in the treatment group were treated with traditional Chinese medicine decoction: Wutou decoction and Guizhi Fuling pills.The changes of TCM syndrome score,intermittent claudication score,Doppler ultrasound score,ankle-brachial ratio,fasting blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,triglyceride,total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein were recorded before and after treatment.The observation time was 12 weeks.Result: 1.The TCM syndrome score,intermittent claudication score,Doppler ultrasound score,ankle-brachial ratio,blood glucose level and blood lipid level in the two groups were significantly improved as compared with those before treatment.2.After treatment,the TCM syndrome score,intermittent claudication score and low density lipoprotein in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group.3.After treatment,the ankle-brachial ratio in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group.4.After treatment,the total effective rate of TCM symptoms in the treatment group was 88.37%,while that in the control group was 67.44%,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.There was no obvious abnormality in the safety indexes of the two groups before and after treatment.Conclusion: Wutou decoction combined with Guizhi Fuling Pill can effectively improve the symptoms and clinical observation indexes of lower extremity arterial disease in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with cold coagulation and blood stasis,and there is no adverse reaction.
