Objective:This study aims to provide new ideas for the treatment of this disease by observing the clinical efficacy of Modified Pei Pi Shugan Decoction in irritable bowel syndrome with liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome and exploring the mechanism of action.Methods:Sixty patients with diarrhea-type irritable bowel syndrome who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups,with 30 patients each in the control and observation group.The control group was given trimebutine maleate orally;The observation group was given Modified Pei Pi Shugan Decoction(Bupleurum 15 g,Cassia twig 8g,Astragalus 15 g,Atractylodes macrocephala 15 g,Tangerine peel 10 g,Magnolia officinalis 10 g,Radix Paeoniae Alba 15 g,Angelica dahurica 10 g,Raw malt 20 g,Saposhnikovia divaricata 10 g,Ginger 10g).For 8 weeks of treatment.Observe and record the TCM symptom score,total score of IBS symptom severity and adverse reactions of the two groups before and after treatment,and follow up the effective patients of the two groups for 8 weeks after drug withdrawal,calculate the recurrence rate,and finally conduct statistical analysis to judge the curative effect.Results:(1)The observation group was better than the control group in terms of abdominal pain and diarrhea,irritability,anxiety,depression,loss of appetite,fatigue,with P <0.05;(2)The total effective rate of TCM symptoms in the observation group was 93.3%,which was better than 80.0%in the control group,P<0.05;(3)The IBS-severity score was improved after the treatment in both groups,and the observation group was better than the control group with P <0.05;(4)There were no serious adverse reactions in the treatment of diarrhea-type of irritable bowel syndrome,which proved that the prescription is safe and feasible in the treatment of this disease;(5)The recurrence rate of the observation group was 14.8%,which was better than 41.7% in the control group,P<0.05.Conclusion: Modified Pei Pi Shugan Decoction is a safe and effective prescription for the treatment of diarrhoea-type irritable bowel syndrome(liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome),which can significantly improve clinical symptoms,reduce the score of disease severity,with low recurrence rate and no obvious adverse effects. |
