Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Dysmenorrhea In Cold-clotted Blood Stasis Type Of Adenomyosis With The Formula Of Warming Yang And Eliminating Zheng

ObjectiveIn this paper,we investigated the efficacy of Wenyang Xiaozheng formula on dysmenorrhea patients with cold-coagulation and blood stasis type of adenomyosis from the aspect of clinical research,in order to provide effective clinical experience for the treatment of adenomyosis with Chinese medicine.Methods70 patients with cold-clotting and blood-stasis type of adenomyosis who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups: 35 patients in the observation group were given the formula of warming the Yang and eliminating the stasis in water,one dose daily,divided into morning and evening;35 patients in the control group were given the capsule of Shao Abdominal Expelling Stasis,three times a day,three capsules each time;both groups started to take the medicine from the fifth day of menstrual cycle until the next menstrual period,and stopped taking the medicine for three consecutive menstrual cycles,after which the treatment was followed up for three consecutive menstrual cycles.The degree of dysmenorrhea,dysmenorrhea score,TCM syndrome score,uterine volume,gynecological examination score and safety indexes were observed before and after 3 menstrual cycles of the medication,respectively.ResultThe total effective rate of Wenyang Xiaozheng formula in the treatment of AM dysmenorrhea of cold coagulation and blood stasis type was 97%,and that of the control group was 87%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was 97% and that of the control group was 72%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Wenyang Xiaozheng formula can effectively improve the score of gynecological examination(P<0.05),but it has no obvious effect on reducing the volume of uterus(P>0.05).ConclusionWenyang Xiaozheng formula can effectively improve the symptoms andsigns of patients with cold-coagulation and blood stasis type of adenomyosis,and is better than the Shao Abdominal and Blood Stasis Capsule group in reducing the degree of dysmenorrhea,dysmenorrhea score,Chinese medicine symptoms and improving gynecological examination scores.
