| Objective: In this study,we intend to evaluate the clinical efficacy of An Lao-Yang Xin-Decoction combined with Western Medicine Routine Treatment in elderly patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and frailty,as well as homocysteine(Hcy),serum albumin(Alb),and test its safety,and further explore its modern pharmacological mechanism.Provide new Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)treatment ideas for the treatment of elderly patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and frailty,in order to improve the quality of life of patients and delay the occurrence and progress of elderly paroxysmal atrial fibrillation complicated frailty.Methods: The study participants were patients who were hospitalized in the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine between December 2020 and July 2021,and 60 people who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into experimental groups and control groups,with30 cases in each group.Control group: Western Medicine Routine Treatment,treatment group: Western Medicine Routine Treatment + An LaoYang Xin-Decoction.2 weeks is a course of treatment,and two courses of treatment are observed continuously.The changes in TCM syndrome integrals,clinical efficacy,Hcy,Alb,the total number of atrial fibrillation attacks,heart rate status,and debilitating states during the trial period were observed before and after the treatment of the two groups,as well as liver function and blood routine tests.SPSS20.0 was selected to analyze and sort out the collected data to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of An Lao-Yang Xin-Decoction.Results: Before and after treatment,the two groups improved in terms of TCM syndrome integral,clinical total effective rate,heart rate status,serum Hcy level,serum Alb level,and debilitating state,and the experimental group was better than the control group,which was statistically significant.In the single integral of debilitating states,the fatigue,pace and activity of the two groups before and after treatment were improved,and the experimental group was better than the control group,which was statistically significant;in terms of weight and grip strength,there was no significant improvement before and after treatment in the two groups,and the experimental group was not better than the control group(P>0.05).In terms of the number of episodes of atrial fibrillation;the experimental group was not superior to the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion: Compared with Western Medicine Routine Treatment alone,the clinical effect of An Lao-Yang Xin-Decoction combined with Western Medicine Routine Treatment is more prominent,which could significantly improve the symptoms of elderly patients hospitalized due to AF complicated frailty,improve debilitated state and heart rate status and improve the quality of life.It also has a certain effect on the number of atrial fibrillation attacks,which can delay the process of frailty and atrial fibrillation,and improve their cardiac function.The mechanism of efficacy may be related to lowering serum Hcy levels,inhibiting inflammatory responses,and increasing serum Alb levels.The formula is simple,the drug is specialized,safe to take,and it is worth clinical promotion and research. |
