Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Sequelae Of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease Of Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis Based On “Collateral Disease Theory”

Objective: This article discusses the treatment effects of Liqi Tongluo Prescription which based on collateral disease theory on sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease with qi stagnation and blood stasis.Methods: 60 patients with sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease of Qi stagnation and blood stasis type were equally divided into the experiment group and the control group by a simple random sampling.The experimental group was given Liqi Tongluo Prescription for oral treatment,and the control group was given Kunfukang capsule for oral treatment.Both groups were treated for 2 courses lasting four weeks,medicine withdrawal during menstruation.TCM symptom score,local signs score,VAS score,range of inflammatory exudate and size of inflammatory mass,IL-2 level and TNF-α level were counted and analyzed.Results: Before treatment,there were no significant differences in TCM symptom score,local signs score,VAS score,inflammatory exudate range and inflammatory mass size,IL-2 level,and TNF-α level between the two groups(P > 0.05).After two courses of treatment,the TCM symptom score,local signs score and VAS score of the two groups were significant ly decreased,with statistically significant differences(P < 0.05),and the decrease was more evident in the experimental group(P < 0.05).The total effective rate of comprehensive efficacy in the experimental group and the control group was 100% and 90%,the total effective rate of TCM symptom efficacy was 96.67%,the total effective rate of local sign integral was100% and 90%,and the total effective rate of VAS pain efficacy was 100%and 96.67%.There were significant differences in comprehensive effi cacy,TCM syndrome efficacy,local signs efficacy and VAS pain efficacy between the two groups(P < 0.05).It shows that both treatment methods can relieve clinical symptoms,the Liqi Tongluo Prescription is better than the Kunfukang capsule.In addition,both treatments can relieve inflammation,but Liqi Tongluo Prescription was better than the Kunfukang capsule.They both reduced the range of inflammatory mass and pelvic effusion,decreased the level of TNF-α,and increased the level of IL-2.The differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05),and the changes in the experiment group were more substantial(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Liqi Tongluo Prescription can obviously improve the clinical symptoms and relieve the inflammatory reaction of patients wit h sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,which is an effective prescription for the treatment of the disease.
