Objective: To observe the clinical effect of early postoperative treatment of fracture of greater tuberosity of humerus combined with dislocation of shoulder joint with internal supplementation of ZhuangJinXuGu Decoction plus and minus for pain and recovery of shoulder joint function.Methods: Sixty patients with fracture of greater tuberosity of humerus combined with dislocation of shoulder joint who were hospitalized in the orthopedic ward of The Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2019 to September 2021 were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method.There were 30 patients in the observation group,including 15 males and 15 females,with the oldest age 64 years old and the youngest age26 years old.There were 30 patients in the control group,including 11 males and 19 females,with the oldest age 64 years old and the youngest age 27 years old.Both groups were treated with open reduction internal fixation using micro-anatomic locking plate,and the observation group was treated with ZhuangJinXuGu Decoction for 28 days.Visual analogue scales(VAS)were used to measure pain scores before surgery,24 hours after surgery,1 week after surgery and 1 month after surgery,respectively.Constant-Murley shoulder function scores of 2 groups were recorded before surgery,1 month after surgery and 3 months after surgery.The observations were analyzed using IBM SPSS26.0.Results: All enrolled patients were followed up for 6-12 months,and no incision nonunion or infection occurred during the study.There was no significant difference in baseline data between the two groups(P > 0.05).1.In terms of VAS pain score,there was no statistical significance in VAS pain score before and 24 hours after surgery between the two groups(P > 0.05);VAS pain scores of 2 groups were significantly reduced 1 week and 1 month after surgery,with statistically significant differences after statistical analysis(P < 0.05).2.In terms of constant-Murley shoulder function score,there was no statistically significant difference in preoperative shoulder function score between the two groups after statistical analysis(P > 0.05).The shoulder function score of the two groups increased gradually 1 month and 3 months after surgery.The difference was statistically significant after statistical analysis(P < 0.05).3.In terms of excellent and good rate,the excellent and good rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group 3 months after surgery,and the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Conclusion: ZhuangJinXuGu Decoction can effectively treat the pain after fracture of greater tuberosity of humerus combined with dislocation of shoulder joint,and effectively promote the functional recovery of shoulder joint,which is worthy of further research and clinical promotion. |
