Clinical Study On The Effect Of Buyang Zhuangtong Decoction On The Level Of Nerve Filament Light Chain Protein In Stroke Patients With Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Buyang Zhuangtong Decoction on stroke patients with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,and to explore the relationship between Serum neurofilament light chain protein(s Nf L)and stroke severity and prognosis.Methods: A total of 70 patients with Acute ischemic stroke(AIS)and 6healthy subjects were included in the study.AIS patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,35 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the treatment group was additionally treated with Buyangzhuang Tongyin on the basis of the control group.The observation period was 28 days.The AIS patients received the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS),modified Rankin Score Scale(m Rs)and Barthel index(Barthel index)on day0 and 7 of enrollment Index,BI)and TCM syndrome score,and the concentration of s Nf L was determined.On day 14,NIHSS scale,m Rs scale,BI index score and TCM syndrome score were performed.On day 28,NIHSS scale,m Rs scale and BI index were scored.Samples were taken from healthy subjects to determine the concentration of nerve filament light chain protein.Results:1.Analysis results of curative effect of Buyang Zhuang Decoction on stroke patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome: NIHSS scale,m Rs scale and BI index of patients in both groups decreased on the 7th,14 th and 28 th day of treatment,and the decrease was the most significant on the14 th day.On the 7th and 14 th day of treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of2 groups were improved,and the curative effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.2.The baseline LEVEL of s Nf L in AIS patients was significantly higher than that in healthy subjects.The higher the degree of stroke disability in AIS patients,the higher the LEVEL of s Nf L;In AIS patients,NIHSS scale,m Rs scale,BI index,TCM syndrome score and other observation indicators improved on day 7 and 14 of treatment,while s Nf L level also decreased,and the decrease was more significant in the treatment group.On day 28,the OBSERVATION indexes such as NIHSS scale,m Rs scale and BI index of AIS patients improved,and the corresponding s Nf L level was also lower.Conclusion:Buyang Zhuangtong Decoction combined with Western medicine can improve the neurological deficit symptoms and TCM syndrome score of stroke patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.Serum neurofilament light chain protein may be a potential biomarker for assessing the severity and prognosis of stroke patients.Buyang Zhuangtong Yin may play a therapeutic role by affecting the expression of light chain protein in serum nerve filament.
