Objective: To investigate the status of perceived autonomous support,motivation and physical activity in diabetic patients and their differences in general demographic characteristics,and to analyze the correlation among perceived autonomous support motivation and physical activity,to explore the effect of perceived autonomous support and motivation on physical activity in patients with diabetes mellitus.Methods: A cross-sectional study of non-experimental study was conducted to study the prevalence of diabetes mellitus in a Grade III,Class A hospital and Community Health Service Center in Yanji,Jilin Province from June to August,general demographic data questionnaire,medical care atmosphere questionnaire,treatment self-regulation questionnaire and international physical activity questionnaire were used to conduct the questionnaire survey.Data collected were analyzed by SPSS26.0 statistical software.Results:(1)The average age of 330 subjects was 49.2 ± 16.87 years old,146 of them were female(44.2%),183 of them were Han nationality(55.5%),182 of them were married(55.2%),and175 of them(53%)had the most education level below high school 206(62.4%)were employed,199(60.3%)lived in cities,242(73.3%)had the highest average monthly income of 3000-5000 yuan,167(50.6%)had been sick for 6 years or more,and 241(67%)had no family history of diabetes 230 patients(70%)were treated with antidiabetic drugs,194 patients(58.8%)had no complications of diabetes,and 188 patients(57%)had no other chronic diseases.(2)The mean scores of perceived autonomous support,motivation and physical activity were22.35 ± 5.55,51.54 ± 7.03 and 1243.18 ± 433.179 respectively.In the general demographic characteristics of different age,education,occupation,residence,time of illness,complications and other chronic diseases,there are differences in perceived autonomous support,physical activity,there were significant differences in motivation among education,occupation,residence,duration of illness,complications and other chronic diseases(p < 0.05).(3)There was a positive correlation of moderate intensity between physical activity and perceive autonomous support(r = 0.513,p < 0.001),and a positive correlation of moderate intensity between physical activity and motivation(r = 0.735,p < 0.001),there was a positive correlation between perceive autonomous support and motivation(r = 0.617,p < 0.001).(4)Multiple linear regression showed that occupation,complications and other chronic diseases,perceive autonomous support and motivation were the influencing factors of physical activity,and the explanatory rate of physical activity was 50.5%.(5)Conclusion:(1)The level of perceive autonomous support in patients with diabetes mellitus is moderate;the level of self-motivation,internal regulation and external regulation are moderate,the score of no-motivation is lowest;the level of physical activity is moderate,the proportion of physically inactive persons was slightly higher.(2)There was positive correlation between perceive autonomous support and physical activity,positive correlation between self-motivation,external regulation,internal regulation and physical activity,negative correlation between non-motivation and physical activity.The higher the degree of perceive autonomous support,the stronger the motivation,and the better the regular physical activity.(3)The younger the age,the higher the level of perceive autonomous support and motivation,the better the persistence of physical activity.
