Objective: To understand the current situation of cancer-related fatigue,Resourcefulness level and quality of life in breast cancer chemotherapy patients,to explore and analyze the relationship between cancer-related fatigue, intelligence level and quality of life in breast cancer chemotherapy patients,To explore he influencing factors affecting patients undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer quality of life, and to provide a theoretical basis for the targeted improvement of quality of life in breast cancer chemotherapy patients. Methods: This study is a descriptive study in a non-experimental research, and 269 breast cancer chemotherapy patients who were treated with chemotherapy in 2 level II A and above hospitals in Jilin Province between December 2020 and October 2021 were selected for the study using the General Demographic Characteristics of Patients Treated with Chemotherapy for Breast Cancer Questionnaire, the cancer-related fatigue Scale, the Wisdom Scale, and the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Scale to conduct the survey.SPSS 26.0 was used to organize and analyze the questionnaires. The differences were considered statistically significant at the test level of α=0.05,P<0.05 using composition ratio, frequency, mean, standard deviation,t-test,one-way ANOVA,Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression methods.Results:(1)General information of the study population: 269 patients were investigated in this study, and the included data were all normally distributed,49 under 45 years old,109 in the 45-55 age group,76 in the 55-65 age group, and 35 in the 65+ age group;including 113 Han Chinese(42.0%),156 Korean and other ethnic minorities(58.0%);education level In terms of education level,46(17.1%)were elementary school and below,77(28.6%)were junior high school,91(33.8%)were high school/junior high school, and 55(20.5%)were university and above.(2)Among the dimensions of cancer-related fatigue, the highest score was 5.16±1.25 for cognitive aspects, followed by 4.74 ±1.27 for behavioral aspects, then 5.08 ±1.38 for sensory aspects, and the lowest score was 5.03±1.21 for emotional aspects, with overall fatigue at a moderate to high level. The differences between patients in terms of age, ethnicity, marital status, occupational status, monthly household income, place of origin of the family, mode of payment of medical expenses, and number of chemotherapy side effects were statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The personal Resourcefulness score 46.46±10.96 and the social Resourcefulness score33.40±10.69 were at an intermediate level, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05)in education level, occupational status, monthly household income, place of origin of the family, mode of payment of medical expenses, and number of chemotherapy side effects.(4)The overall quality of life of breast cancer chemotherapy patients was 46.50±20.42 points, with statistically significant(P<0.05)differences in patients’ ethnicity, education level, marital status, occupational status, monthly family income, place of family origin, mode of payment of medical expenses, disease duration, and number of chemotherapy side effects.(5)Pearson correlation analysis showed a significant negative correlation between cancer-related fatigue and overall quality of life(r=-0.636,P <0.05),a significant positive correlation between Resourcefulness level and overall quality of life(r=0.660,P < 0.05),and a significant negative correlation between cancer-caused fatigue and Resourcefulness level(r =-0.472,P<0.05).(6)Regression analysis yielded that the level of cancer-related fatigue, level of Resourcefulness, place of residence, number of chemotherapy side effects, and duration of illness effectively explained overall quality of life with an explanatory power of 63.3%.(F=31.491,P<0.05).Conclusions:(1)The overall quality of life of breast cancer chemotherapy patients was moderate, and among the dimensions, physical function, fatigue, and economy had the highest scores;Han Chinese, university, employed, married, monthly family income>5000,city of residence, employee health insurance, duration of illness<1 year, and no chemotherapy side effects had higher scores.(2)Cancer-related fatigue in breast cancer chemotherapy patients was at a moderate level, with the highest scores in cognitive aspects and the lowest scores in emotional aspects.(3)Patients with breast cancer chemotherapy had moderate levels of Resourcefulness level, with personal Resourcefulness being higher than social Resourcefulness.(4)Cancer fatigue was negatively correlated with overall quality of life;Resourcefulness level was positively correlated with overall quality oflife;cancerfatiguewas negatively correlated with Resourcefulness.(5)Place of residence, number of chemotherapy side effects, disease duration,cancer-related fatigue, and level of Resourcefulness of breast cancer chemotherapy patients can predict the level of quality of life.
