Objective: To investigate the expression of PP2 Ac in hepatocellular carcinoma and its clinical significance. Methods: the clinical data of 100 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma who underwent radical resection in the Cancer Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi Medical University from July 1,2016 to March 1,2018 were collected,Methods:the expression of PP2 Ac protein in HCC and paracancerous tissues was detected by Western blot. The expression of PP2 Ac protein in HCC and paracancerous tissues was compared. The expression of PP2 Ac protein in HCC and paracancerous tissues was detected by immunohistochemistry,According to the results of immunohistochemistry, the expression of PP2 Ac protein was divided into high expression group(moderate positive group and + strong positive group)and low expression group(negative group and weak positive group).Chi square test was used to analyze the correlation between the expression of PP2 Ac and clinical data of patients with liver cancer. The recurrence free survival time and overall survival time were followed up Univariate analysis and Cox multivariate proportional hazard regression model were used to analyze the effect of PP2 Ac on relapse free survival and overall survival of HCC patients, and to compare the effect of PP2 Ac protein expression level on relapse free survival and overall survival of HCC patients. Results: 1.Western blot was used to detect the expression of PP2 Ac protein in HCC and its adjacent tissues. The expression of PP2 Ac protein in HCC was3.01% ± The protein level of PP2 Ac was 1.25 in adjacent tissues ± The expression level of PP2 Ac protein in HCC tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues(P < 0.05).2.The expression level of PP2 Ac protein was detected byimmunohistochemistry in 100 cases of liver cancer and adjacent tissues.PP2 Ac protein was highly expressed in 72 cases(72%)of 100 cases of liver cancer, and PP2 Ac protein was highly expressed in 5 cases(5%)of 100 cases of adjacent tissues. The high expression rate of PP2 Ac protein in HCC tissues was significantly higher than that in paracancerous tissues(P < 0.05).3.There was no significant correlation between PP2 Ac high expression group and PP2 Ac low expression group in gender, age and lymph node metastasis(P >0.05),but in tumor size, tumor number, differentiation degree, portal vein invasion,BCLC stage,AFP and microvascular invasion(P < 0.05).4.The 1-year and 3-year recurrence rates of patients with high expression of PP2Ac(28% and 62% respectively)were significantly higher than those of patients with low expression of PP2Ac(19% and 42% respectively). The 1-year and 3-year survival rates of patients with high expression of PP2Ac(84% and68% respectively)were significantly lower than those of patients with low expression of PP2Ac(90% and 81% respectively). The recurrence free survival time of patients with high expression of PP2 Ac was significantly lower than that of patients with low expression of PP2Ac(P < 0.05)The overall survival time of patients with high expression of PP2 Ac was also significantly lower than that of patients with low expression of PP2Ac(P < 0.05).Cox multivariate analysis showed that PP2 Ac was an independent factor for postoperative recurrence and survival. Conclusion: 1.The expression level of PP2 Ac protein in HCC is higher than that in adjacent tissues;2.The high expression level of PP2 Ac protein in HCC patients is closely related to tumor size, tumor number, differentiation degree, portal vein invasion,BCLC stage,AFP and microvascular invasion. The high expression level of PP2 Ac protein may be related to the malignant degree of HCC;3.Compared with patients with low expression of PP2 Ac protein, patients with high expression of PP2 Ac protein had shorter relapse free survival time and overall survival time; The high expression of PP2 Ac protein in hepatocellular carcinoma is an independent factor for postoperative recurrence and survival of HCC patients.
