Objective 1 To understand the mental health status and job burnout of nurses in Guangxi tertiary general hospital.2 Objective to analyze the factors of nurses’ mental health status,and to provide basis to improve mental health status.Methods1 From November 2019 to January 2020,515 on-the-job nurses,including 220 male nurses and 295 female nurses,were recruited from 10 tertiary general hospitals in Guangxi,including Nanning,Liuzhou,Yulin,Wuzhou,Qinzhou and Fangchenggang.The general situation questionnaire,Symptom Check-List-90,Maslach Burnout Inventory,Social Support Scale and Life Event Scale were used as evaluation tools to conduct field investigation.Excel 2019 and SPSS 22.0 statistical software were used for data statistics.The data of measurement and counting were calculated by means respectively ± Standard deviation,frequency and percentage were displayed;T or chi square test was used for comparison between groups;Pearson correlation test was used to test the score of the scale;The influencing factors were analyzed by multiple linear regression.Result 1The score of SCL-90 was 117.43 ± The average scores of somatization,obsessive-compulsive symptoms,depression,interpersonal relationship and psychoticism were lower than the norm,while the average scores of anxiety,hostility and fear were higher than the norm.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).2 Compared with the national norm,the average scores of emotional exhaustion and personal accomplishment were lower.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).3 The scores about subjective and objective support,utilization of support and total score of social support were lower than the national norm(P<0.05).In the life event scale,the difference between male nurses and female nurses in life event score and total score ≥ 32 was not statistically significant(P > 0.05),and the difference in total score ≥20 was statistically significant(P < 0.05),and the proportion of male was higher than 20.4 Sex is the factor of positive SCL-90.Compared with male nurses,women are the protective factors of SCL-90 positive,which reduces the risk of mental health by 43.4%.Professional title was the influencing factor of SCL-90 positive.Compared with nurses,the risk of mental health of nurses was reduced by 56.3%.Family education mode and job burnout grade were the influencing factors of SCL-90 positive(P = 0.002 and 0.040 respectively),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).5 Gender and social support level were related to the increase of nurses’ job burnout.Compared with female nurses,the risk of male nurses with more serious job burnout increased by 2.6 times.Compared with nurses with satisfactory social support,nurses with less social support were 2.86 times increase the degree of burnout.Nurses with general social support were 49% less likely to increase their job burnout.6Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the score of SCL-90 and the total score of job burnout.Emotional exhaustion was negatively correlated with paranoid factor and psychotic factor;Low personal achievement was positively correlated with interpersonal relationship,depression,anxiety and paranoia.Conclusion 1 Although the scores of anxiety,hostility and fear were higher than the national norm,the average scores were less than 2,and the positive rate of SCL-90 was 19.61%,which was lower than the national reports.Although the average scores of emotional exhaustion and personal accomplishment in job burnout were lower than those in Hangzhou norm,the job burnout rate of nurses in Guangxi was 59.8%,and the job burnout was still serious.2 The mental health of nurses is affected by gender,professional title,family education mode and job burnout level,which may reduce the mental health level of nurses.3There is a positive correlation between SCL-90 and job burnout.
