Research On The Application Of The IP Image Design In Medical Popular Science Works

With the transformation of the disease spectrum in China,chronic diseases and degenerative diseases have become the main threats to people’s health.Therefore,there is a large demand for medical popular science works.At the same time,IP(Intellectual Property)rises in the era of the new media,and its strong communication capacity of cross-media is exactly what the development of medical popular science require.At present,the visual design of medical popular science works in China generally has problems such as simple and crude image design,rigid and uninteresting form,and it is impossible to complete the construction of medical popular science IP,which restricts the effective dissemination ability of medical popular science works.This thesis takes the visual design in the medical popular science works as the main research object,exploring how the IP image design promotes the spread of the medical popular science works.This thesis firstly determines the definition of IP image within the scope of this thesis by combing and defining the concept of IP.Then,through field surveys,questionnaire surveys,and sample analysis,it summarizes the common problems existing in the visual design of current medical popular science works.In the third part,combines theories of design science,psychology,communications and the design practice,summing up a set of effective application methods of IP image design in the popularization of the medical science.Through the comprehensive research,it is concluded that the application of IP image design in medical popular science works can effectively improve its communication ability.The results of this research integrate and standardize the design theory of the IP image for the popularization of the medical science,fill the gaps in the application research of the IP image design in medical science popularization,and provide samples for subsequent related researches.At the same time,this research is effective for medical popular science works from a design perspective for it provides a set of applied design methodology of referential value.What is more,this thesis also promotes the improvement of public’s self-awareness of health management.
