| By the end of August 2018,the data from the civil affairs bureau suggests that,there are in total 6.97 million left-behind children and 305000 orphans in rural areas in China.Represented by left-behind children and orphans vulnerable groups is still large,the number of vulnerable groups of disadvantaged children in the rural areas of Sichuan province is in the first place,represented by Liangshan Yi autonomous region of left-behind and orphans need more care and help.The absence or even permanent absence of parent-child relationship,the failure or even the collapse of family function will have a significant impact on children’s life,study,physical and mental development.This effect may manifest itself directly in a decline in the quality of life or in overall life satisfaction,leading to tragedies of all kinds.What is the current situation of life satisfaction of Liangshan Yi youth who have experienced such adverse childhood experiences as being left behind and being lost? What are the differences in satisfaction in each area? Faced with the double whack of poverty and bereavement,do Liangshan Yi youth with low life satisfaction have a higher risk of suicide?This article through the empirical research to understand Liangshan Yi region vulnerable youth groups of life satisfaction,status and influence factors of the risk of suicide and attempted to according to the results of empirical research,puts forward some practical and feasible intervention program,to improve the life satisfaction of Liangshan Yi youth,reduce the possibility of suicide risk.A total of 2514 middle school students from four schools in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture were investigated by using life satisfaction scale,suicide risk scale and self-made questionnaire on basic information of Liangshan Yi adolescents.Chi-square test,independent sample test,one-way analysis of variance,correlation analysis,AMOS mediation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were used to analyze and process the data.The results show that there are significant differences in family economic status in the risk of suicide among adolescents in Liangshan Yi area.There are significant differences in life satisfaction among adolescents in terms of type,gender and family economic status,but some research conclusions are different from previous studies.The analysis may be influenced by the unique local family culture and customs.Adverse childhood experiences,suicide risk and life satisfaction were partly significantly correlated.Family satisfaction has a complete mediating effect between staying alone and suicide risk.Life satisfaction and its various dimensions had a moderating effect on the relationship between childhood adverse experiences and suicide risk.Specifically,(1)Life satisfaction positively moderated the risk of double left-behind and suicide,and negatively moderated the risk of single left-behind and suicide;(2)School satisfaction has a negative moderating effect on the relationship between single stay at school and suicide risk;(3)friend satisfaction has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between double stay and suicide risk;(4)Self-satisfaction has a negative moderating effect on the relationship between staying alone and suicide risk.This study revealed that Liangshan Yi region adolescent suicide risk at higher levels,different kind of the satisfaction of single left-behind and double left-behind teenagers mechanism is different,family’s satisfaction as the intervening variable between single stay and suicide risk,affect adolescent suicide risk level,single left-behind negative experience does not directly lead to suicide,and through the family satisfaction impact on suicide;However,school,friends and self-satisfaction played a more moderating role,and there were significant differences in suicide risk between single and double left-behind teenagers under different levels of satisfaction. |
