Objective Explore the relationship between plasma Asprosin level and hyperthyroidism, and understand whether it is related to the occurrence of abnormal glucose metabolism in patients with hyperthyroidism.Method According to the results of OGTT,69 patients with Hyperthyroidism were divided into three subgroups:normal glucose metabolism group(HNGT,N=29),hyperthyroidism with impaired glucose regulation group(HIGR,N=31),hyperthyroidism with diabetes group(HDM,N=9).29 healthy volunteers were recruited as control group.Collect general data such as gender, age, family history of diabetes, appetite hyperactivity, weight loss, height, and weight.Detect Asprosin, blood sugar, glycosylated hemoglobin, insulin, blood lipids, thyroid function, calculate HOMA-β,HOMA-IR.Result 1.Among 69 hyperthyroidism patients,40 cases had abnormal glucose metabolism(57.97%),including 9 cases had diabetes(13.04%);1 case had impaired fasting blood glucose(1.45%);25 cases had impaired glucose tolerance(36.23%);5 cases had impaired fasting blood glucose and impaired glucose tolerance decreased(7.25%).2.There was no significant difference in gender,age,FINS,Asprosin,HOMA-IR,TG,and HbAlc between the hyperthyroidism group and the control group(P>0.05).FPG,2hPPG,2hINS,ALT,AST in hyperthyroidism group were significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05);BMI,TC,HDL,LDL,HOMA-β in hyperthyroidism group were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).3.There was no significant difference in sex, appetite, weight loss, family history of diabetes mellitus,BMI,FPG,HbA1c,FINS,HOMA-IR,HOMA-β,Asprosin,TG,HDL,ALT,AST,TT3,TT4,FT3,FT4,and TSH among HNGT group,HIGR group and HDM group(P>0.05);TC and LDL in HDM group were significantly lower than those in HNGT group(P<0.05);2hINS was the highest in HIGR group and the lowest in HNGT group(P<0.05);The age in the HNGT group,HIGR group, and HDM group increased sequentially(P<0.05).4.According to BMI,hyperthyroidism patients were divided into emaciation group(BMI<18.5kg/m2),normal weight group(18.5≤BMI<24kg/m2)and overweight/obesity group(BMI≥24.0kg/m2).Asprosin was the highest in overweight/obesity group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).5.The patients with hyperthyroidism were divided into two groups according to their appetite. There was no significant difference in Asprosin between the two groups(P>0.05).6.In Spearman correlation analysis,Asprosin in hyperthyroidism group had no correlation with each index.Asprosin in the control group was positively correlated with TC(r=0.411,P=0.027)and LDL(r=0.391,P=0.036).Conclusion 1.Serum Asprosin levels did not increase significantly in patients with hyperthyroidism, which may not be related to the occurrence of abnormal glucose metabolism in hyperthyroidism.2.Among 69 hyperthyroidism patients,40 cases had abnormal glucose metabolism(57.97%),including 9 cases had diabetes(13.04%);1 case had impaired fasting blood glucose(1.45%);25 cases had impaired glucose tolerance(36.23%);5 cases had impaired fasting blood glucose and impaired glucose tolerance decreased(7.25%).
