| Objectives:Observe the serum asprosin level in obese people and the trend of changes after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy(LSG),and explore whether there is a correlation between asprosin and the improvement of glucose and lipid metabolism after LSG.Methods:45 obese patients who were treated with LSG in the weight loss center of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University from October 2018 to April 2019 were selected.45 normal weight people were selected as controls in the health examination center.Differences in body weight, body mass index(BMI),waist circumference, glucose and lipid metabolism indexes, and asprosin in obese patients were analyzed before surgery and 3 months and 6 months after surgery.Analyze thecorrelation between asprosin and other variables. Results:The levels of asprosin in obese people were significantly higher than those in the control group, which were[(43.69 ± 10.36)vs.(15.75 ± 3.81)ng / ml,P <0.01].Compared with before surgery, the body weight,BMI,waist circumference, and glucose and lipid metabolism indexes were significantly improved at 3 and 6 months after operation, but no significant changes in asprosin.Spearman correlation analysis showed that the proportion of excess weight loss at 6 months after surgery was the only factor associated with asprosin(r = 0.726 P<0.01).Conclusion:LSG improved obesity and obesity-related glucose and lipid metabolism disorders significantly, but had no significant effect on asprosin. There was no correlation between asprosin and improvement in glucose and lipid metabolism.Based on the effect of weight loss at 6 months after surgery,we have observed that higher preoperative asprosin levels predict more weight loss. |
