| Objective With the increasing of global aging, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)is becoming more and more serious as the disease progresses. The most effective and simple way is to use lung inhalants to delay the disease.Compliance plays an important role in the treatment of the disease. This topic is to educate the patients through clinical pharmacists,so that patients have a full understanding of drug efficacy, time to take medication, time to take effect, and common adverse reactions to drugs,so as to eliminate the doubts of patients, and thus improve the compliance of medication. To evaluate the role of clinical pharmacists in helping to treat patients with COPD by studying the patients’compliance with lung inhalants, the accurate use of inhalants,CAT test scores, the 6 minute walk test and the evaluation of lung function. Methods Through reasonable screening and comparison,124 patients who were included in the standard emergency department from January 2015 to July 2016 were randomly divided into intervention group and control group. Results Compared with the control group, the accuracy of inhalant was improved(P<0.05).The evaluation test score(CAT)decreased significantly(P<0.05).There was significant difference in 6 minutes walking(P<0.05).The lung function was significantly different(P<0.05)and the results were significantly different(P<0.05).Conclusion Clinical pharmacists play a significant role in drug compliance of COPD patients and delay the disease progression of COPD patients. |
