| Objective:Based on the correlation analysis between gastrointestinal symptoms and serum levels of 20 kinds inflammatory factors in patients with gastric cancer during chemotherapy,this study aims to elucidate the inflammatory immune mechanism of gastrointestinal symptoms in patients with gastric cancer during chemotherapy.Methods:A total of 246 patients with gastric cancer undergoing chemotherapy in the Department of Oncology of Jiangsu Province Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from April 2014 to December 2015 were selected as the case groupdivided into three groups:those who without any gastrointestinal symptoms were classified as gastric cancer-asymptomaticgroup(Include gastric abscess,gastrectasia,ventosity,diarrhea,allotriogeusia),gastric cancer gastric abscess group 63 cases,other gastrointestinal symptoms group(gastrectasia 63 cases,ventosity 27 cases,diarrhea 31 cases,allotriogeusia 66 cases).Recruited 53 cases from the physical examination center of Jiangsu Provincial Hospital as a control group.Fasting serum was collected and electrochemiluminescence multi-factor immunoassay(MSD)was used to detect 20 kinds(GM-CSF,IL-1α,IL-5,IL-7,IL-12/IL-23P40,IL-15,IL-16,IL-17α,TNF-β,VEGF,IFN-γ,IL-1β,IL-2,IL-4,IL-6,IL-8,IL-10,IL-12p70,IL-13,TNF-α)serum inflammatory factors.SPSS 17.0 software was used for differential analysis,correlation analysis and cluster analysis.Results:(1)Compared with the control group,serum IL-7 levels in the gastric cancer-asymptomaticgroup were significantly decreased(P<0.05),and 9 kinds(GM-CSF,IL-12/IL-23P40,IL-17α,IL-1β,IL-2,IL-6,IL-8,IL-10,TNF-α)inflammatory factors were significantly increased(P<0.05),there are 5 kinds(IL-12/IL-23P40,IL-17α,IL-6,IL-10,TNF-α)inflammatory factors levels were significantly increased in the gastric cancer gastric abscess group(P<0.05);Compared with gastric cancer-asymptomaticgroup,there are 4 kinds(IL-17α,IL-4,IL-12p70,TNF-α)inflammatory factors levels were significantly decreased in the gastric cancer gastric abscess group(P<0.05).(2)Compared with the gastric cancer-asymptomaticgroup,there are 2 kinds(IFN-γ,IL-2)inflammatory factors were significantly decreased in the gastric cancer gastrectasia group;2 kinds(IFN-γ,IL-2)inflammatory factors were significantly decreased in the gastric cancer ventosity group;IL-2 significant decreased in the gastric cancer diarrhea group;and GM-CSF significant decreased in the gastric cancer allotriogeusia group.(3)There were 366 pairs of significantly correlatedinflammatory factors among the three groups:gastric cancer gastric abscess group,gastric cancer-asymptomaticgroup,and control group(P<0.05).The correlations within each group are mainly positive correlations,while the correlations between groups are mianly negative correlations.There were 1665 pairs of significantly correlatedinflammatory factors among the other gastrointestinal symptoms and the gastric cancer-asymptomaticgroup(P<0.05).The correlations within each group are mainly positive correlations.Intergroup correlation analysis shows:gastrectasia group and ventosity group,gastrectasia group and diarrhea group,ventosity group and diarrhea group were also mainly positively correlated,while mainly negative correlation was found among gastrectasia group and allotriogeusia group,ventosity groupand allotriogeusia group,diarrhea group and allotriogeusia group.(4)Cluster analysis shows:The 20 kinds of serum cytokines in the control group,gastric cancer-asymptomatic group and the gastric cancer gastric abscess group were classified into 6,3 and 4 clusters,respectively.(IL-4,GM-CSF)are unique clusters of the gastric cancer-asymptomatic group,(IL-16,IL-2)are unique clusters of the gastric cancer gastric abscess group.The 20 kinds of serum cytokines in the gastric cancer gastrectasia group,gastric cancer ventosity group,gastric cancer diarrhea group,gastric cancer allotriogeusia group were classified into 3,4,3,4 clusters,respectively.(TNF-α and IFN-γ),(IL-15 and GM-CSF)are unique clusters of the gastrectasia group;(IL-15 and IL-1α),(IL-5 and GM-CSF),(TNF-α and IFN-γ)are unique clusters of ventosity group;(IL-2 and IL-12/IL-23P40),(IL-5 and IL-1α))is a unique cluster of diarrhea group;(IL-15 and GM-CSF)are unique clusters of allotriogeusia group.Conclusions:The pattern of expression of inflammatory factors in patients with different gastrointestinal symptoms of gastric cancer is different.gastrectasia,ventosityand diarrhea patients have similar expression patterns of inflammatory factors,and may have similar inflammatory immune molecular mechanisms. |
