Clinical Effect Observation On The Treatment Of The Early Pain After Total Knee Arthroplasty With Auricular Points Pressing Combined With Intermediate Frequency Electrostatic

Objective:To verify the forsooth effect of auricular points pressing and intermediate frequency electrostatic therapy on the early pain after total knee arthroplasty through rigorous clinical observation to instruct the clinical application.Methord:Cases were chosen from the hospitalization patients of the Fuzhou General Hospital.The whole experiment lasted from December 2013 to December 2014.75 cases of Knee Osteoarthritis patients that met the standard of total knee arthroplasty were randomly divided into 3 groups,including 2 treatment groups and a control group(n=25 for each group).All cases postoperative were received oral celecoxib 200mg each time,2 time each day.The treatment group A was received auricular points pressing and intermediate frequency electrostatic therapy,the treatment group B was received only auricular points pressing,and the treatment group C was received intermediate frequency electrostatic therapy.Preoperative 24h vaccaria seeds were pasted on ear,select shenmen,pizhixia,jiaogan,xi,press 3 times each 2h.Postoperative 1 time each half an hour last 3 to 5 minutes.Using intermediate frequency electrostatic treatment postoperative 24h,2 times every day last 20 minutes,10 times as a course of treatment,a total of 2 courses of treatment.Comparion the balance of the 3 groups in age,disease duration,weight,gender,preoperative ROM before treatment.Observing the differences of VAS score and ROM score at different times.Results:(1)There was no significant difference about the equilibrium among the 3 groups in age,disease duration,weight,gender,preoperative ROM(P>0.05).(2)There was significant difference of the postoperative VAS score at different times among the 3 groups(P<0.05);The ROM of postoperative 5 day had significant difference(P<0.05);But the ROM at postoperative day 1、3、7、10 had no difference.(3)There was significant difference of the postoperative VAS score and ROM at two adjacent time points among the 3 groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of auricular points pressing combined with intermediate frequency electrostatic therapy on the early pain after total knee arthroplasty was obviously superior to the simple auricular points pressing or intermediate frequency electrostatic therapy,and it could promote early ROM.It was a noninvasive,effective and safe method that could be widely used for the treatment of the early pain after total knee arthroplasty in clinic.
