| Fertilization is the main way to increase crop yield, mainly by means of organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer. In recent years, ecological fertilization methods such as increasing biological carbon have also attracted people’s attention.Biocarbon can improve soil environmental quality, promote crop production and enhance crop resistance, which has been confirmed by a large number of studies. However,it is not clear whether the improvement of biological carbon on soil quality and crop growth mainly comes from the nutrient increase brought by biological carbon or other effects of biological carbon on soil physical and chemical properties. Therefore,in this study,a pot experiment was used, three rice varieties were selected, and conventional fertilization was used as the control, and the corn stover biochar(BC)treatment with 5% soil weight was set up,and the fertilization treatment with the same content of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium carried by the biochar itself(NPK),by analyzing the changes in the growth and soil environment of different late rice varieties under the three fertilization methods,to find out the possible ways that biological carbon affects rice growth and soil environment, and to analyze how this effect is related to the nutrients carried by the biological carbon itself.the result shows:1、Both the application of biological carbon and the application of the same amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers can significantly increase the yield of late rice.Compared with conventional fertilization, the rice yield is increased by 22%-28%.Adding the same amount of nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium fertilizer increased yield better.2 、 The application of biological carbon and the application of the same amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers had positive effects on the above-ground and below-ground biomass of different varieties of late rice. The main performance is to promote the increase of root length, root tip number and branch number.3、The soil p H value increased by 0.19-0.28 after the application of bio-carbon;the availability of soil phosphorus and potassium increased after the application of bio-carbon,indicating that the bio-carbon activated the original phosphorus and potassium in the soil,so the bio-carbon could better improve the soil quality and nutrient availability functions. In conclusion, the addition of biological carbon can promote the growth of late rice yield per plant, but the effect of increasing the yield is not as good as that of adding chemical fertilizers with the same nutrients, and the two treatments have different effects on the components of rice yield. The main reason for increasing the yield of late rice with biochar is to increase the effective panicle of late rice. The addition of chemical fertilizers with the same amount of biochar promoted the 1000-grain weight, the number of grains per panicle, the effective panicle and the total spike number per plant in late rice, and the yield increase effect was better than that of the single application of biocarbon. However, biological carbon treatment can effectively improve soil p H value and activate soil available phosphorus, and its ecological and environmental benefits on soil improvement are more significant. |
