| The development of the Internet and fierce market competition have led to significant changes in the market environment,business models,and customer consumption habits.How to achieve sustainable development in a rapidly changing market environment has become a question that many companies have been thinking about.Nowadays,competition between enterprises is mainly based on the comparison of business models.Therefore,if companies want to maintain their position in the rapidly changing market environment,they need to continuously optimize their business models to make them a booster for corporate performance.In this paper,Muyuan Group and Zhengbang Technology in animal husbandry industry are selected as the case study object.Firstly,the development overview of animal husbandry industry is introduced and the development process of Muyuan Group and Zhengbang technology is reviewed.Secondly,based on the nine elements of business model,the nine elements of "value proposition,customer segmentation,channel,key business,partners,core resources,customer relationship,cost structure,income source" are divided into three dimensions of value insight,value creation and value acquisition to analyze the business model of the two enterprises.Thirdly,the relevant indicators of each factor are analyzed to quantify the impact of factors on enterprises.Finally,establish the impact mechanism of business model on enterprise performance,and transition from the analysis of the impact of single factors on performance to the analysis of the impact of business model on enterprise performance as a whole.By analyzing financial indicators such as profitability,debt paying ability,operation ability and growth ability and non-financial indicators such as employee motivation,reasonable degree of educational structure of internal employees and fulfillment degree of social responsibility,the impact of Muyuan Group and Zhengbang Technology’s respective business models on corporate performance is further demonstrated.Conclusion: The most prominent feature of Muyuan Group business model is "vertical integration".This business model enables the enterprise to have excellent management ability and cost control ability,which is conducive to reducing production costs.Muyuan Group also has a firm foothold in the animal husbandry industry with this business model.The most significant feature of Zhengbang’s business model is the "company + farmer" cooperation model in breeding business.Due to the strong subjective initiative of farmers and potential default risk,the management cost of this model is higher than other business models.Based on the consideration of various business model elements,in the future,the "vertical integration" business model of Muyuan Group will be the model that future animal husbandry enterprises can learn from. |
