replacement of AGP has become one of the hot spots in the industry.Tannin has the functions of antibacterial,anti-oxidative stress, antiviral infection and regulation of intestinal flora, and is one of the main anti-AGP alternatives. The purpose of this study was to provide theoretical basis and guidance for the application of talatanin in livestock production by studying the optimal dosage of talatanin in broiler diets, the effect on meat quality, and the effect of combined use of oregano essential oil on growth performance of broilers.Experiment 1: Effects of Tala tannin on Growth performance and meat quality of White feathered broilersThe purpose of this experiment was to observe the changes of growth performance of white feathered broilers by adding different doses of tartannin extract to their diets, determine the optimal dosage, and observe the effects of the optimal dosage on meat quality.A total of 6treatments were control group(basic diet)and 5 experimental groups. The experimental groups were supplemented with 400,500,600,700 and 800 mg/kg tartannin on the basic diet, respectively.A total of 360 one-day-old AA white feathered cocks were randomly divided into 6 treatment groups with 6 replicates per group and 10 chickens per replicate. The experimental period was 42 days. The results show that: From the perspective of production performance, the average daily gain(ADG)at 1-21 days of age increased linearly(P<0.05)when the supplemental dose of tartannin ranged from 0 to 800 mg/kg,and the fitting curve R2=0.90.ADG at 22-42 days of age,ADG at 1-42 days of age and weight at the end of 42 days of age all increased first, then decreased and then increased. It was a cubic curve(P < 0.01),and the fitting curve R2 > 0.80.The relationship between total daily gain and tala tannin addition was in line with the cubic curve. The regression equation was Y=2E-07x3-0.0003x2+0.0899x+62.64,R2=0.87.Compared with the control group, the average daily feeding intake(ADFI)at 1 to 42 days of age in 400 and 500 mg/kg groups was increased(P < 0.05),but there was no significant change in 600,700 and 800 mg/kg groups(P > 0.05).The ADFI and final weight of broilers at 22-42 days of age and ADG and ADFI of broilers at 1-42 days of age were significantly increased in 500mg/kg group(P<0.05).Taranin group(optimal dose: Compared with control group,500 mg/kg)significantly increased the apparent digestibility of dietary protein(P <0.05),total abundance of microbial dominant flora in intestinal flora(P > 0.05)and pancreas index of broilers(P<0.05),and decreased the spleen index(P < 0.05)and liver index of broilers(P<0.01).The Coverage index of tannic acid group and control group was more than99.5%.These results indicated that tartannin could improve the utilization rate of dietary protein, improve intestinal flora of broilers, reduce organ damage, and enhance immune level.800 mg/kg tartannin did not reach the inhibitory dose of feeding for broilers aged 1-42 days, but could promote feeding at low dose. With the increase of supplemental dose,it had a continuous positive effect on early weight gain of broilers. The medium dose and high dose can promote the intermediate and whole weight gain of broilers.According to the principle of cost first, the 500 mg/kg dose group is the best under the conditions of this experiment. In terms of meat quality, compared with the control group, the tannic acid group(optimal dose: 500 mg/kg)significantly decreased the a value of brisket and leg meat stored for 45min(P < 0.05),the p H of leg meat stored for 72 h,the serum loss of cooking brisket stored for 72 h and the content of malondialdehyde(MDA)in leg meat stored for 144 h(P < 0.05).The b value of breast meat stored for 24 h,shear force and system water power of breast meat stored for 144 h(P < 0.05)and cooking loss of breast meat stored for 216 h(P < 0.05)were increased, indicating that Tara can improve muscle color, water retention ability and antioxidant capacity, and enhance muscle toughness.Trial 2: Effects of Tartannin combined with Oregano essential oil on Growth Performance of broilersThe purpose of this experiment was to study the effects of combination of tartannin and oregano essential oil on growth performance of broilers.A total of 240 one-day-old AA white feathered cocks were randomly divided into 4 treatment groups with 6 replicates per group and 10 cocks per replicate.Four treatment groups were basal diet, basal diet +500mg/kg tara tannin, basal diet +300 mg/kg oregano essential oil,and basal diet +500 mg/kg tara tannin +300 mg/kg oregano essential oil.The results show that: Compared with the control group, dietary supplemented with 500mg/kg tara tannin and 300 mg/kg oregano essential oil significantly decreased the ratio of feed to gain(F/G)from 1 to 21 days(P < 0.05).Use of 500 mg/kg tara tannin and 300 mg/kg oregano essential oil alone and in combination increased average weight at 42 days of age, average daily gain(ADG)and average daily intake(ADFI)at 22-42 days of age and 1-42 days of age.The ratio of feed to gain(F/G)and mortality rate of 1 to 42 days of age were decreased at 1 to 21 days of age(P > 0.05),and there were no significant differences in other data at 22 to 42 days of age and 1 to 42 days of age(P > 0.05),indicating that tartannin and oregano essential oil could increase average weight of field at 42 days of age and reduce the ratio of feed to meat at 1 to 21 days of age.It has the effect of improving production performance, and the combined use effect is better. In conclusion, dietary supplementation of tartannin can improve the intestinal flora structure, enhance immunity and feed conversion efficiency of broilers,so as to improve the average daily gain and average daily feed intake of broilers, improve the growth performance of broilers, and improve muscle quality and antioxidant capacity of broilers.Dietary supplementation of 500 mg/kg is appropriate. At this dose alone or combined with oregano essential oil can increase the weight gain in the field, reduce the feed/meat ratio in the early stage, and improve the performance of broilers. |
