This study combined with the actual production and nutritional needs of yellow-feathered broilers in Qinghai Province. The different levels ofβ-1,3/1,6-glucan were added to the basal diet to study the effects of different supplementation of β-1,3/1,6-glucan on the growth performance, immune organ index, serum parameters, intestinal growth and development and histomorphology of yellow-feathered broilers, and promote the healthy development of the intestine of yellow-feathered broilers and to raise an appropriate amount of beta-1,3/1,6-glucan that improves chicks immunity. This study was used as a link for the efficient use ofβ-1,3/1,6-glucan resources and the development of surrogate products. The test used a single factor design to randomly divide 420 one-day-old yellow-feathered broilers(roosters)in the same batch into 7 groups, with four replicates in each group, with 15 chickens in each replicate. In addition,β1 to β5 groups were supplemented with 1.00g/kg,1.25 g/kg,1.50 g/kg,1.75 g/kg and 2.00 g/kg of β-1,3/1,6-glucan in the basal diet of yellow feather broiler chicks, respectively. The antibiotic group was supplemented with 0.20 g/kg tylosin in the basal diet, and the control group was only fed the basal diet. The test period is 28 days. The result has been shown:(1)Dietary supplementation of 1.00 g/kg or 1.25 g/kg β-1,3/1,6-glucan in yellow-feathered broiler chicks improved the immune organ index of yellow-feathered broilers;1.00 g/kg β-1,3/1,6-glucan supplementation significantly improved the serum indicators of yellow-feathered broilers(P < 0.05)and promoted the growth performance of yellow-feathered broilers and enhance the immune capacity of chicks.(2)Dietary supplementation of β-1,3/1,6-glucan in yellow-feathered broiler chicks promoted intestinal growth and development in yellow-feathered broilers,with1.00 g/kg or 2.00 g/kg of β-1,3/1,6-glucan supplementation significantly increasing villus height, thickness, and villus ratio in each intestinal segment of the small intestine in yellow-feathered broilers(P < 0.05).(3)Dietary supplementation of β-1,3/1,6-glucan in yellow-feathered broiler chicks had a significant effect on the distribution density of goblet cells,VIP,PCNA and PACAP-positive cells in the small intestine of yellow-feathered broilers(P <0.05),and 1.00 g/kg β-1,3/1,6-glucan supplementation significantly increased the distribution density of goblet cells,VIP,PCNA and PACAP-positive cells in different intestinal segments(P < 0.05).In summary,it is recommended to add 1.00 g/kg of β-1,3/1,6-glucan to the diet of yellow-feathered broiler chicks to improve the growth and development of the intestine of chicks and enhance the humoral immunity of chicks, thereby improving the growth performance of yellow-feathered broilers.
