Analysis On The Behavior Of Farmers Of Returning Manure To Fields And Its Influencing Factors In Jilin Province

With the rapid development of livestock and poultry breeding industry,more and more attention has been paid to the manure pollution in China in recent years.According to the2017“Second National Pollution Source Survey Bulletin”,the pollution from livestock and poultry breeding ranks first among agricultural pollution sources.As one of the ways of comprehensive utilization of livestock and poultry manure,manure return is the way to maximize the utilization of nutrients contained in livestock and poultry manure.Manure has the characteristics of large quantity and high nutrient content.Returning Manure to the field can not only effectively improve soil properties,increase yield and income,but also effectively reduce nutrient loss and enhance farmland fertility.Compared with the way of using chemical fertilizer,manure is the most green and environment-friendly fertilizer,and it is also the best way of applying fertilizer for recycling agriculture.Although Jilin Province is rich in manure resources,the black soil area of Jilin province is gradually shrinking and the soil fertility is decreasing day by day.At this point,manure return to the field to become the most appropriate method of black soil protection.Therefore,the study on the behavior and influencing factors of manure return is of fundamental significance for reducing agricultural non-point source pollution,improving black soil fertility and effectively replacing chemical fertilizer.The analysis of the behavior of farmers returning manure to the field and its influencing factors can grasp the reasons of applying or not applying manure to farmers in Jilin Province as a whole,and on this basis,analyze the influencing factors,finally,it can provide policy guidance for encouraging farmers to return manure to fields in Jilin Province.It plays an important role in the restoration of agricultural ecological environment,the extension of the management mode of combination of planting and breeding,and the sustainable development of agriculture.This research is divided into four parts,six chapters.The first part includes the first two chapters.Firstly,it introduces the research background through the importance of manure,the benefit of manure returning to the field and the situation of manure returning to the field in Jilin Province Secondly,the use of farmers’ behavior theory,circular economy theory,sustainable development theory,to lay the theoretical foundation for the following;.The second part is the third chapter of this paper,from a macro-point of view of the situation of manure in Jilin Province was analyzed.Firstly,through the estimation of the total amount of manure resources in Jilin Province,it is found that the manure resources in Jilin Province are sufficient.It was found that the contents of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium in cattle manure were the highest,followed by pig manure and poultry manure.Then the replacement amounts of N,P and K by manure are estimated when the rate of manure returning to the field reaches 50%,60% and75%,which are 343,500,393,900 and 411,300 tons respectively,412,200,472,600 and 493,500 tons respectively 515,300 tons,590,800 tons and 616,900 tons.Taking into account the loss of manure,the direct amount of manure returned to the field in Jilin Province was estimated,and it was found that at 32% of the manure returned to the field,potassium could be completely replaced by manure,through the use of manure can replace all phosphate and potassium fertilizer and surplus.Finally,through the manure cost–benefit analysis found that,when the yield,machinery lease fees,labor costs and other costs of the same,promote manure to the field can effectively enhance the income of farmers.The third part is the fourth and fifth chapter of this paper,from the micro-point of view of Jilin Province manure back to the impact of factors were explored.Through the statistics of the questionnaire,it is found that only 32% of the farmers in Jilin Province use manure.Through the binary Logistic regression model,this paper makes an empirical study on the influencing factors of the farmers manure return behavior to the field,it was found that gender,whether to work outside the home,education level,whether to own the land,whether to combine farming with raising,the number of farmers,the quality of the land,the knowledge of the effect of manure application,the willingness of manure application,the training of agricultural techniques and the policy of manure subsidy had a positive effect on whether farmers applied manure or not,the cultivated land area has a negative effect on whether farmers apply manure or not.The fourth part includes the sixth chapter,which is based on the investigation and empirical analysis of farmers in Jilin Province.In order to encourage farmers to return manure to the field and set up the consciousness of scientific fertilization,the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward respectively from the perspective of the government and farmers.
