An Analysis On Trends Of Scholar Cooperation And Evolutions Of Research Topics Based On Data Mining

In this paper,the authors' cooperation changes and literature network relationships in the field of Behavioral Operations Management(BOM)are studied by data mining and other methods.Behavioral operations management is a promising and popular new research field in the field of operations management.Most behavioral operations management research focuses on the impact of cognitive biases,personal and social preferences,and cultural norms on operational and supply chain management decisions.In this paper,by constructing the first and second level keyword table,we searched the web of Science(WOS)database for literatures in the field of behavioral operations management from January 2000 to December 2020.In this paper,by constructing the first and second level keyword tables,we searched the Web of Science(WOS)database for literatures in the field of behavioral operation management from January 1,2000 to December 31,2020.Five journals of Management Science?Operations Research?Journal of Operations Management?Production and Operations Management and Manufacturing and Service Operations Management in UTD24 were selected,and 254 target literatures were collected and classified into 16 operation topics and 8 operation topics.Through the statistical analysis of the target literature,it is found that the publication of operation management literature shows an overall rising trend.MS is the journal with the most published literature,while POM has seen a sharp increase in the publication of literature after 2014.Through the comparison of references and citation literature,it is found that the field of behavioral operations management is mainly influenced by literature of psychology,economics and marketing,while the field of behavioral operations management is mainly influenced by literature of this field.The leading authors are defined by the author's academic productivity and the author's Betweenness Centrality in the collaborative network,and the top ten author friend circles are obtained by Louvain cluster analysis on the collaborative network.In addition,from the perspective of time and connection,this paper analyzes the evolution of the author's circle of friends over time through the network structure index.It is found that with the growth of time,the number of scholars in this field increases,the number of cooperation among scholars and cooperative literature increases,the diversity of cooperation among scholars increases,and the research topics become richer.This paper analyzes the cooperation between the author's institutions and countries from the perspectives of time,space and connection.Through co-word analysis,behavioral and operational topics in literature data are analyzed to investigate hot research topics in the field of behavioral operations management.The topic intersections in the co-occurrence matrix of behavioral and operational topics with relatively small data are used to explore possible future research directions in the field of behavioral operations management.Three conclusions have been drawn.First,different behavioral factors can be used to interpret or alleviate and improve classic operation management problems or phenomena.For example,time inconsistency can be used to explore the causes of pull to the center effect and bullwhip effect.Secondly,due to the impact of technology and innovation on the operational process,new behavioral operational management themes such as sharing economy,platform economy and human-computer interaction can be explored.The first two can explore behavioral factors such as Fairness and Social Preferences and Strategic Behavior.The latter can be taken into consideration after the Trust and Trustworthiness behaviour factor.Third,innovation of research methods in the field of behavioral operation management,such as obtaining relevant human physiological data with nuclear magnetic resonance,eye tracker and other devices.In addition,through the literature co-cited cluster analysis,a total of 15 categories of topics were obtained,among which the topics that were the same as the co-occurrence matrix of behavior and operation topics were environment and sustainability,sharing economy and platform economy,etc.,while the topics that were not obtained were supply chain finance,and behavioral factors such as Risk Attitude were considered.
