Study On Citation Analysis Of Chinese Management Journals Network

Management journals plays an increasingly important role in the spread ofinformation，and is an important source of Management. According to statistics. Researchworkers of various field require documentation which70%to80%from the journal.Management academic achievements mainly in the way of journal articles tocommunicate. Therefore, we need to give these massive source of information (journal)for a scientific, rational, objective and fair assessment to help us understand themanagement of the development research found that the level of the journals in the fieldof management. To identify the mode of the Journal of Management, internal knowledgeexchange.The Journal of management studies mainly focus on research, author collaborationnetwork analysis etc. But on Management Science Journals Citation Network Study isvery less. Therefore this paper use citation analysis and social network analysis toanalysis the management journal.This article from the micro perspective and macro view to study our country themanagement of27core journals in5years (2004-2006) published in the article37789postings records and article133239reference records. First from the micro perspectiveanalyse the citation profiles of the27kinds of management journals using the relatedindexes of citation analysis and social network analysis. Draw the following conclusion:①27journals have established extensive contacts. But between the amount of the articlespublished in the journal, cited amount, and the influence factors, H indices, the differenceis bigger.②By using the central analysis of social network analysis, we can see that thepoint centrality、closeness centrality and between centrality of27management journalsdifference is bigger. Each index ranking results are not quite the same.③Using thecentricity index and citation analysis on the relevant analysis of the index,we found thatthe In-degree centrality, Average Citations Per Paper, H index and CSSCI evaluationresults are correlated with larger, suitable for journal evaluation index.Secondly We use the method from the macroscopic angle to draw the followingconclusions:①27kinds of management journals refer to each other on the overallnetwork is closely linked, but mutual cited frequency is generally low.②Managementjournals mutual reference network has obvious hierarchical structure, it can be dividedinto three journal subgroups. Also is knowledge source, knowledge communication, knowledge intermediary. They are in different positions in the exchange of knowledge ofthe journal to play a different role.We can offer a new view of the journal analysis management and methods throughthe above two methods and two dimensions of the Journal of management mutual citationof network research. And we can be more intuitive understanding of the development ofour country management journal research status. It also for the academic journals of theclassified reference for the study.
