In recent years,with the rapid innovation of network technology,the information environment has gradually shown the trend of the development of a large-scale integration of information media,multiple media forms are constantly changing,and information carriers and forms of communication are becoming more complex.New challenges.In order to adapt to the new information environment,library services have turned to the development of information and digital services.In the traditional era of printed information resources,the collection of paper materials determines the quality of library services,but in the era of digital resources,it is the "acquisition of information" that determines the quality of library services.Readers do not have to come to the library to use it.Therefore,in the hybrid library,the service to readers should pay attention to the feeling of real space services that cannot be experienced on the Internet,that is,the role of the library as a "site".Under such circumstances,the business scope and specific service content of library services have been enriched.In the context of the information society,its functions have changed.The library is no longer just a symbol of the "book circulation center",it should also exist as an "information dissemination center" and a "cultural exchange center".Library publications,as a traditional resource service method of library information services,should also adapt to the changing times.Due to different cultural and educational levels in different regions,and differences in the resources allocation of university libraries,the development of library publications in China's university libraries has been uneven.Most university libraries have not established library journals.The problem of commonality needs urgent solution.Of particular concern is the issue of the service effect of library journals.The main service object of library journals is the majority of college students.However,many students obviously lack awareness of the concept of library journals.This is the problem and challenge faced by university library journals.Based on the literature research,this article comprehensively understands the current theoretical research and practical status of the existing library library publications;uses case analysis and interview methods to try to establish a research theoretical framework for library library publication services;Questionnaire survey of university journal services for user needs;through analysis of the survey results,put forward related strategies and optimization suggestions for the development of university journal services.The purpose of this article is to provide a reference for college libraries to improve the quality of journals and services.The research content includes:1.Research on Library Service and Related Theoretical BasisThrough literature research,learn about the current development of library services,and the research status of information services,library information services,information needs,and library user needs.2.Survey of University Journal Services in Jiangsu ProvinceThe survey was conducted in two parts.First,through case analysis method,combined with the use of online surveys,telephone interviews and other methods,the specific investigation of the library journal services in colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province was conducted,and the purpose,content source,and column setting of all journals Comparative analysis.Secondly,four typical target colleges were selected from the university libraries in Jiangsu Province.Partial in-person interviews were conducted with some of the library's journal service staff and college students from the perspective of the subject and object of library journal services to explore the current university libraries.Service effect of the journal.Finally,combining theoretical research and actual survey results,the library services of colleges and universities are divided into two aspects:resource requirements and channel requirements based on user needs,and then specifically divided into service content requirements,service form requirements,service mode requirements,and service technology requirements.Based on the specific factors,a theoretical framework of college library service oriented to user needs is constructed.3.Questionnaire Survey on the User Demands of University Library Service in Jiangsu ProvinceThe questionnaire was designed according to the theoretical framework of university library journal services oriented to user needs.The main service objects of university library journals,namely university students and university librarians,were surveyed.The questionnaire was randomly sent to target population in Jiangsu Province.Statistics and integration of data,analysis of the specific needs of users for all aspects of library services.4.Strategies and Suggestions for University Library Service OptimizationAccording to the four aspects of content construction,publicity and promotion,management methods,and reader interaction,suggestions are made for the future development of library services.First,it is necessary to clarify the positioning of publications and attach great importance to content construction;secondly,it is necessary to expand communication channels and increase the popularity of library journals;thirdly,to improve the management mechanism and standardize editing and editing work;fourthly,to improve interactive functions and strengthen contact with readers.
